| Also, after watching replays of the Steven Gerrard booking, if it was Lee Cattermole who done that challange is would of been a red card. No question. | |

| Another point regarding the match yesterday. Personally I think the Dirk Kuyt's goal was ok. Turner took the free kick as the ball was still. I have no issues with that. | |

| I think the freekick was a joke to be honest, anyone who has played football at a decent level knows the boy didn't take the freekick, the referee never even saw it and just took the word of the linesman, I doubt he even really saw it for what it was either, Cattermole or Joey Barton would have got their marching orders for Gerrards elbow | |

I totalyly agree with you gaffer but by the letter of the law Turner took the free kick. It is totally shit what they done but there's nothing that can be done about it. on a plus side, Cattermole got 90mins

| Aye the freekick thig was stupid, but the ball's in position for the free kick, if Turner's leaving it for the keeper why doesn't he just walk away? Think that goal rightfully stood.
As for Gerrard, he absolutely should have seen red, he knew exactly what he was doing, the ref bottled it I think.

You think if Liverpool did that at Anfield, Sunderland would get the goal? Feel really sorry for the lad Turner.

The ball wasn't in position though, the guy was moving the ball back to where it should have been took from, it was the same position they took it from when it got pulled back in the first place

| Wasn't it? I was sure the ball was in roughly the same position as their first attempt when the ref stopped them from taking it early and Turner then kicked it further back. | |

| Today just shows me that Chelsea will walk the league this season, with us coming a very distant third. You can't afford to let chances like we were given this weekend slip through your fingers and expect to win the league.
Beating the worst Liverpool side in years was a false dawn for most United fans.

The ref never even saw him take it though, you can bet your life if he actually saw what happened it would never have counted, doubt he'd admit that though, I've spoke to a few of the boys the day after our game and everyone agreed that anyone whose played at a semi decent level knows the boy was never taking the free kick, he was knocking it back for the keeper, it happens in every game every week thats why I think that officials should have at least played at some sort of decent level

| Bazz, if you think you'll come third, who will come second? Man City? Arsenal aren't performing particuarly well, neither are Tottenham, and Liverpool will be mid-table this year. | |

Simply put they are just better than us, I actually think they are the best team in the country when they are consistent.

A trained chimp with down syndrome would have known he didn't take the free kick. But that's obviously beyond that fucking inbred, sister shaggin, pikey, hunchback, webbed feet, homeless, backward prick of a ref.

Beach ball was different though, that was a freak goal, like the one Fabregas scored against us last week. It's when some prick in the middle practically gives them a free goal that sticks in your throat.

| He wasn't trying to look clever though, its just a natural thing to do no matter what level you play at, if the ball isn't in play you knock it back, it didn't need to go back far so he didn't hit it hard, I've lost count of the daft ways I've done something like that at a free kick your waiting on the goalie or the fullback coming to take
Watch any live games this week, you'll see defenders doing things like that all the time, like I said, I'd be willing to bet any money that if the referee actually saw it he'd never have gave it
