thought he looked good when i watched him play, loves to get forward

Bargain at 1.6 million, always thought he looked good in Champions League matches, great signing for Fulham, better than Konchesky imo.

anyone no if Squillaci has signed for us haven't heard anything for days considering it was all over the sports news from saturday to tuesday

It looks like we aren't going in for N'Zogbia. Birmingham seen to have him. We are going to struggle big time this season imo. Only really Darren Bent a goalscorer. An average midfield and a defence that has nore leaks than a broken sink. We still need 2 or 3 players I reckon

We (Norwich) have loaned Leon Barnett off of you. Is he any good, some mixed reviews from various fans?

He'll be good in the Championship as long as he has some confidence.

Signed him for 3 Million plus from Luton,Was very promising and in the two seasons in which we played in the championship he was very good and kept many of the best strikers in his pocket,including Ebanks-Blake.

Had a torrid time against Carew and Agbonlahor against Villa,Mowbray came out in public and criticised him for it and absolutely shot him to bits.Went to Coventry last year and played quite well by all accounts but when Coleman left any chance of permanent deal was screwed.

He's a good defender,Good in the air and marks and is quite pacy,But Mowbray tried to turn him into a ball-playing centre half which he isn't.As long as all you ask from him is to win the ball and then get rid of it or relay it short he'll be good at that level.

Supposedly you are aftre Stokes for around 1.5 million, 800k bid was rejected supposedly.

I wish Rangers put in a bid for someone like Stokes, instead of Jelavic who cost 4 million and has a worse scoring record than Samaras.

Give the boy a chance he hasnt even kicked the ball yet!

Stokes is a machine and he would have cost a fraction of the price. If Stokes got the service Boyd got last year, he would bang in 25+ goals a season ( like what he got last year)

Jelavic's best return was 17 goals in a season in a league that's worse than ours.

It's still early days for Darryl Murphy though Gaffer

and Stokes is 3 years younger. The guy will thrive at Celtic. He needs to work on his overall game but he sticks the ball in the net continually in the SPL which is why I wanted him since he left Falkirk

Jelevic should get the service Boyd got, he didnt get that at Rapid.

So he'll score a shit load aswell.

He was bloody brilliant at our place,shame I got your hopes up when I told you about him!Don't why he didn't do well for you up there in all fairness,scored 5 for us in 17 games,that's pretty much one in three which isn't a bad record.

I don't know where/if he will play if I'm honest because we've signed another striker,Odemwingie,who scored against Sunderland and he looked a very good player so he may well play as part of a two which will make up for his lack of goals.Still think he'll score us a few and set up plenty more.I heard it was 2 Million plus 250k if we stay up but don't know whether that was true.

I'm gonna make a bold prediction,even with the dross of all dross up front,we will stay up.Blind faith at it's best folks!

The 3 of their goals relied on crosses from wide men. The quality of the balls in looked far better than what Rangers can offer especially from likes of Lafferty who cant cross a ball to save his life.

plus with the money saved we could have got another winger for the right hand side who can cross a ball as Naismith can't. A possible cheeky bid for Riordan, who is a great talent as long as he concentrates on football and not clubbing.

I'm not sure his record is comparable to Samaras, I know he has scored similar amount of goals but in the last 18 months he has really came onto his game, I think he'll be a real player for Rangers, I think its a good signing, very ambitious signing as well considering the amount of crap that gets said about the finances.

I'd be absolutely delighted if we signed Stokes too, it's embarrassing that we could get him for so much less than what we could get for that can't score no mark Fortune, honestly, I can't even explain how delighted I am that we've got rid of that 3 legged dog from the team, utter brilliance!

Fuck knows, apparantly we're after a lad at Hibs Stokes, he is a really good goalscorer in Scotland, much cheaper than the dud so could work out well, think he has scored 40 goals in 60 games in Scotland with Falkirk and Hibs in about a season and a half of football, the lad has a bit of a wild streak about him though, I think thats why Wenger got rid of him but if he can keep improving he'd be a good signing.

I read about that Bebe today, apparantly he got dragged off a reserve game for being 'off the pace' WTF Bet Fergie was happy about that one!

Yeah he was also pulled from a game in training they are saying he's just not up to fitness yet, forgetting the fact the most other players aren't up to full speed yet,
