you need a goal keeper who can organise a defence. Most obvious 'there's a goal coming now' moment of the year from that corner. Team just stood still not 1 man trying to organise and focus the team. On another note, refereeing standards.. Leagues need a major shake up. If managers would just praise refs who do well more even if it's against them 1 they will feel less shite 2 players might learn if a manager straight up says it was a foul, not convince themselves they are never in the wrong. That stuff leads to players fouling with intent THEN shouting at the ref cos he saw it. Obv refs cant just magic themselves better, so switch mentality and they will perform better. Also fuck off pulis, as he is the worst ref slater.

i truly feel hodgsons days are numbered, after some pitiful performances, he then goes and tries to put some blame on the supporters, when its clear to see that the players just dont have confidence in him

and when people had thought he had at least figured a balanced formation out there, he then play meireles and then gerrard on the right, kuyt on the left and when he brings joe cole on, plays him at CM

the big four is dead by miles, anyone can beat anyone. Ref's are now just shite whatever the team. 5 mins added on vs utd, that game looked like roles reversed on the whole tbh. Hodgson, Grant, Ancellotti and Houllier are all riding their luck at the minute.

I would go with Hodgson after the game on Sunday. If they lose to us that gives the board the perfect reason to sack him.

hodgson is too nice for liverpool, they need a real cunt in charge. Being fair though it's not like liverpools players should be doing much better there are better teams and squads by far now especially when their top two players are either injured or 'back to their best' they have been relying on ngog though ffs and dont have a cb partnership and the midfield is always changing and kuyt has missed alot of action. Top ten is definatly the goal

if he wins every single game of the season, then he will maybe hold off until this time next year, at this point, if i were him, id try and get my compensation on the quiet and stick it all on himself as the next manager to get sacked, at least he will make a bit of extra money for his time at our club

at which point ancelotti gets sacked an hour before him and he loses it all

hmm, not sure about ancelotti, but id be pretty surprised if both hodgson and grant are still both at their current clubs by the end of the month

and which managers out there would be good enough for a team of chelseas stature, at least with liverpool wed probably have king keeny as a stop gap until the summer, but is there anyone at chelsea that could do the same sort of thing
