If he has been released, he must have done something bad, I can't see them just releasing him, because he was over.

This has gotta be some kind of work. Although it's interesting that they say 'Daniel Bryan and Bryan Danielson' in the WWE release, implies this is legit...

If it was a work, it would be on the main page of WWE.com, but you have to go into WWE News to see the statement.

Wasn't he known as the Ultimate Dragon or something like that? Could be a story for him to return as that.

He was the American Dragon.

Seems a bit weird that WWE launch the NXT Invasion storyline, and then get rid of the most over member of the faction.

On the otherhand, I know what Leaks saying but if he is fired then in storyline he hasn't actually got a WWE contract so they can't announce they have released him from one

Just watching the Smackdown repeat now, and it was cut from thast, along with him gobbing in Cena's face.

Which could be simply because it's Saturday morning, rather than Friday, post-watershed.

Either way, real or work, it's got everyone talking about NXT again...

I watched SD last night and I'm positive I saw it last night although they didn't show him spitting in Cena's face last night

EDIT - You know what, after thinking about it, I'm sure they cut to some weird high up camera angle and didn't show it

I think if it was a work, they would do so much more than just having it in a small little spot in the News section, they would say that he has been told to leave the company because he never won a contract or whatever.

I can't see this being a work, with so little coverage of it on the website.

But if they gave it too much attention, wouldn't it make it more obvious that it was a work?

Plus if they used the 'he never won a contract' angle, then wouldn't they also have to get rid of the other 6 who didn't win?

I meant that if it was a work that angle would be used.

I think they are trying to keep any attention from the fact he has been released so the NxT angle can carry on without it disrupting it.

He maybe got in trouble for gobbing on cena when he wasnt specifically meant to ?

They couldn't put it on the main page though IMO because Techincally the NXT guys are not meant to have contracts

I wonder why they had him work that NXT match with Slater and Christian and Miz if he was on the road to the sack, they even used white ropes on FCW instead of the yellow and blue they usually use so that to me suggests they where going to use the footage on WWE TV at some stage

Still can't work out if this is a work on not. If it is then well done to WWE for using the darling of the IWC in this way. If not and he has been released for choking Justin Roberts then it is PG nonsense gone mad.

I am not watching wwe if this is true. Sick of stupid things like this.

I don't mind the fact that the choking thing was bad, I agree that in the current setting that WWE is in that doing something like that was a bit extreme, but he really should have been given a warning or a fine before just being fired straight away.
