Very overrated manager who can't stay at one club long enough to do any good.

So establishing a club as small as Wigan into a borderline-European team isn't doing much good?

One thing though, wish we would stop being described as a "big club" by Bruce and the media.

Need to have ambition though, if your manager isn't describing you as a big club how is he meant to expect players to think it

I know, makes me nervous so

We survived relegation because other teams were even more shite, lots of work needed to be done before I feel comfortable with "big club".

Maybe. But you can't say they're where they are because of Bruce. Any fairly decent manager could have done what he done if not more.
I bet he doesn't last anymore than a season at Sunderland.

If you transform a struggling prem side into a team challenging for Europe (bearing in mind how tiny Wigan are) then who does get the credit??

so he has payed them back in a way (plus sunderland paying a fee too)

if you are going to leave, thats the way to do it, once you have made an impact but not just abandoned ship, wigan should be a stable club now because of that man.

and theyll make a higher profit on valencia when he moves on

but a problem wigan had under bruce is that they were performing just enough to survive, as soon as they hit the 40 point marker, they always tailed off badly
