miz/cena ppv fued on horizion and tazz wont fight till july

WWE is apparently testing the waters with live crowds to see how they would react to a legitimate John Cena vs. Miz feud that would culminate in a pay-per view match between the two in the near future.

For those awaiting the debut of Taz in TNA, you'll have to continue to wait a little longer. The former WWE announcer and superstar will not be able to officially join TNA Wrestling until July, when his no-compete with WWE expires.

Surely a non-compete clause wouldn't count if his contract had run out?

Looking forward to Miz vs Cena could do big things for both men.

I doubt the Miz would get a win over Cena but being involved in a high profile feud would be good for him.
It's fairly obvious that Taz will be Joe's manager.Did anyone else notice that Joe used the Tazmission at Sacrifice instead of the rear naked choke.

Cena will be face for at least 18 months so don't expect anything to change. He will turn hell when either his merchandise sales dries up or Vince sods off.

I think The Miz might get a win or two on RAW but i doubt he would pick up a win on PPV if the feud went ahead.

I was thinking the same thing

I thought the non-compete clause wouldn't include out of contract workers either but I think the WWE try and include that in as many contracts as possible, so you can't show up on RAW or SD then on iMPACT! the same week

I'm torn between hating and liking the idea of a Miz/Cena feud, on one hand it could give The Miz the exposure he needs to make it big, but on the other hand Cena could just squash him setting Miz back months.

I think no matter what happens, Cena will beat Miz, its the manor of the defeat that bothers me, I want to see them have a steady 12-15 minute match that is pretty even and have Cena win just because he is that bit more experianced than Miz, although I like Miz, I've not got enough faith in either of them to be able to pull that kind of match off though

I think Cena could actually let Miz get a lot of offense in - it's just a shame he'll ruin it with his dumbass selling.

If it happens, I can see Miz getting a couple of wins on Raw, DQ, count-out, that kind of thing, then Cena winning at the PPV. If it goes well, I'd then like Miz to go up against someone like HBK, who can really bring the best out of someone.

how long are did they put that clause in his contract he's left WWE 2 months ago

as for cena vs miz i hope miz is in the main event scene for a long amount of time he's been great on Raw with his promos

Surprised they let Miz say the line about "the WWE machine" and how Cena appeals to the kiddies. I guess they were following the DX route and trying to impress the smarks thinking that the marks won't understand the comment.

No-compete clauses can't be enforced on guys whose contracts have run out, I'm pretty sure you could take them to court if they did try something like that, so either this is nonsense, or Taz got an early release from his contract I'd reckon.

Not sure Guns, I know what you mean, but I think the WWE might have them sign say a 3 year contract, with a 90 day gardening leave contract added to that, so he will probably get a 3 month pay off although it would halt him from signing for anyone else
