WWE Introducing a New Title?

There's an article on WWE.com right now about Vince McMahon returning and what he's going to do when he gets back ( http://www.wwe.com/shows/raw/articles/8328268/rummcmahonret ) and I noticed this:

Or, perhaps even more exciting, Mr. McMahon could reintroduce the fan-favorite Cruiserweight Championship, but this time making the title exclusive to the Raw brand.

Has WWE made it official that the world tag team titles are ECW titles now?

They better no bring another tag title, everybodys moaning about there being two.

That could work too

I suggested something months ago that they could try and introduce, an Internet title, where it can be defended on any show, and in the 5 days leading up to that show (day after show and day before show i.e RAW Tue-Sun) and the WWE would give the fans a list of 5 wrestlers to vote/debate on why he should be pushed with each of the wrestlers each doing a little WWE.com 30 second promo on why they should get a title shot, then wwe.com announces on the Sunday who is the winner, and list names and links to certain contributors posts to prove why they swayed the vote

I think wwe.com would get massive amounts of hits from it, for me its a natural progression, they use the net for everything now, imagine how in touch with the business the fans would feel if they believe they are responsible for a certain match on Monday Night RAW

I wouldnt mind them having a Triple H Batista title that only they two can fued over, it would keep them away from the main point of either show

There should only be one set of Tag Team titles though, and they should be exclusive to that particular show

Then there could be another title on a different show to replace the tag team titles, again it would be exclusive to that particular show

It would differentiate shows and make them individually unique, well in my opinion anyway

if smackdown had tag titles and raw replaced theres with somthing fresh and exciting they would be onto a winner.

hopefully its not some gimmicky belt which wont last (divas title)

I had a quick look at that article and it surprised me how many reasons they listed for why Vince is returning. All of them are plausible reasons apart from the Dolph Ziggler one. I will be disappointed if one of the reasons is the right one as I wanted the reason for his return to be surprising. I thought they would want to keep the reason a surprise as well but there are a lot of reasons on that article.

You know what, as soon as I saw you where the last one to post I knew automatically what you where going to say, so obvious!

There is no chance the Hardcore title will be brought back, if it is people would be pissing all over it because there is absolutely no way it would bring the same kind of matches it brought 10 years ago, Vince is taking the WWE in a totally different direction

Perhaps not the Hardcore itself but a new version.
I was thinking something along the lines of TNA X Division title. One that's mainly fought over by the cruisers and is something that TNA actually have done well.
Lump all the smaller and risk taking guys together on ECW and give them that belt to feud between.
Stick all the tag guys on SD (one belt) and all the women that can actually wrestle on RAW (again one belt). Makes the titles fresher with more people vying for it and you actually care about them again (okay maybe not the diva belt)

The thing about the X-Division though is its not really a cruiserweight division though, guys like Samoa Joe made there name in that division, thats basically one of the major reasons its went backwards lately, because they have tried to turn it into something it wasn't

That's why it deserves ribbing. Could have been good if McMahon had introduced a Legends Title, then handed it to Hacksaw Jim Duggan, who'd carry it around with him but would never defend it.

I think when you name something a legends title then it stops you from defending it, its like his own form of The Million Dollar Title, a title formed by him for him, it has no meaning or reason for being

true but i think TNA could do something with him like his lose the title and he goes crazy

I think when Sting drops the real title he will take it off Booker when he is kickd out of the MEM
