Ok let me explain to you.
When Kane was wearing the mask, he was a dominating monster, the reason he took it off was because he was trying to be convinced that he doesnt need the mask, that people could accept him as a human being etc
Ever since he's taken the mask off he has not been the same, he's jobbed alot.
The mask could have some sort of hold over him, when he's wearing it, he feels like the monster he once was!
obviously wearing a mask wouldnt make you a monster, but you have to remember this is the WWE and not real life!
