A night of returns RAW SPOILERS

first Miz returned, quickly followed by Y2J which I didn't expect at all who then got beat down by the Wyatt Family, looking forward to this feud both excellent on the mic and could be a good war of words and finally AJ returned and won the Divas title off pagie and was followed by CM PUNK chants.

I actually think this was a very good raw so wanted Rollins to cash in and win the title off Cena but building the AMbrose and Rollins feud really well think they'll have a street fight. Cena will defend his title in a fatal 4 way against kane, orton and regins.

I need to learn to suspend disbelief with some of WWE. The way they were building up a multi platform star I knew they'd do a false dawn return with someone lame, and as soon as Miz showed up it made it clear Jericho would come out soon after. I think it's Michael Cole that reads straight from script and makes it obvious. The way he over hyped a return made it obvious there would be a tease first from someone irrelevant. The Wyatts were a nice surprise, as you say, they can battle on the mic and it will be very good TV.

The opening of Raw felt unplanned. It made no sense. If Cena had thrown down his hat and said Screw selling products for you Hunter, i'm here to fight, it would have made sense. It was like they wanted to tease Cena being 'against authority' but they don't dare follow through with it. Even though his merch would sell more if he appeared to rebel. Like Austin sold tonnes of merch, without him being an obvious bright green billboard.

now the positives.

Jericho vs Wyatt great TV

Reigns stare down with HHH for their eventual match after he's done with Kane and Orton

Ambrose's threat that any time Seth tries to cash in he'll be there. And ending the show with the first example of that. I really do expect Ambrose to challenge for the case at some stage. 1v1 ladder match, after a street fight or hardcore match, which has been brewing for ages. I expect it will be Edge v Foley good. And another ladder match would be up there with the best too. Hoping it pans out this way.

Another predictable moment, but still great, was Rusev waiting for a new challenge, and all I could think was 'now is the time to turn Swagger' and they did. A great response from the crowd too. As they aren't doing Cesaro, Swagger properly then Swagger v Rusev can fill the need for real wrestlers hitting proper throws and suplexes and struggling to pull their punches. Who will lose a tooth first, bet now!

Cesaro is now fully heel, ditching the lame, king of swing tag. That was the least heel tag in history.

I don't mind mid card Cody, they need a midcard with people prepared to work. He's got well into the character.

Raw is in Montreal next week so Bret Hart is the obvious one but he would get nuclear heat if he came out as Shawn Michaels and they actually let him win.

Sandow singing his own mix of Michaels theme would rival when Kurt Angle did it.

Reigns Vs Orton I expect for Summerslam along with Cena Vs Lesnar, Rollins Vs Ambrose and something else.

if only there were two Sandow's. I think they'll just go the Bret route for the big pop followed by huge heat as he mocks Canadian wrestling. Jericho could smash him, but then get jumped by Bray.

If they went the HBK route, they could hit Bret's music to interrupt and get Hornswoggle to come out as Bret!

... and then Bret could moan about being disrespected for the next ten years...

I can't believe they wasted Miz's mic time for that douche Jericho. To be honest, Jericho v Wyatt does not appeal to me at all. It feels to me that creative haven't a clue what to to with bray. Even harper and rowan have something to do.

I actually like Jericho coming back and working with the newer guys. He's quite happy to put them over, he's still a damned good promo, and him and Wyatt going back and forward could be great. Plus he changes what he does, he'll mix things up every so often - unlike RVD who's had the same moves, promo style and haircut for the past 90 years.

Miz still needs to be fired.

haha Mack! The best thing for Bray is to face all of WWE's best promo guys. That is his main draw. And he will win the final match against Jericho too, he might even get a submission finisher out of this rivalry to improve match endings. He is being groomed for greatness, a bit like the Miz who sucked too much to run with it.

cant see it hes a far better wrestler and mic worker than clay ever was or will be, that's why Him, Cesaro and Regins are the 3 guys getting huge pushes and being focused on for WM 31

Brodus Clay v2 is either Langston or Rusev.

Wyatt's had too much promo time and is far too over to be jobbed out like Clay.

You don't start your career vs Cena the Shield and Jericho if you are just another big blob who might be pushed. His momentum hasn't stopped. Langston is nailed on to be the flop. They are pushing Reigns because of his beasty look and he's over. He's getting the superhuman treatment. Cesaro is a pure wrestler getting a push because fans like that there's someone genuinely good at wrestling.

But the best all round talents are Ambrose and Wyatt, so you can relax Mack. Rollins has apparently done great heel work before too, but at the moment he's playing it like a weasel, so there's not been any outstanding promos yet, so I can't judge how good he is at that, but he may be up there too.

in fact, he's already survived the Brodus stage when he was in Nexus. Forget he had his debut back then because I didn't watch it.
