Elliott turned our season around, we were or near enough bottom when he joined and we finished 12th.
Freeman is one I've wanted us to sign for quite a while, tore us a new one in both games against us last season. Freeman is a hell of a signing. Really rate Mark Little too. If BCFC don't get at least a play-off spot with the squad Cotterill is forming, he'll have fucked up big-time.

| Agreed with Wade Elliott as well we really look like we're going for it, seems the board's decision to sort our finances last season was a good one rather than try to go straight back up.
Karl Robinson speaking to the press saying he would have wanted to sign Robinson but no clubs in League 1 can compete with us on transfers as our transfer policy blows any other team out of the water.... what a muppet

| Jack - I'm read more than once thomas vermaelen has agreed personal terms with you's. only a fee between Utd and arsenal is to be agreed. You heard anything? He'll be a good replacement for vidic.
Sunderland news - a 10.5m bid in for borini has gone in. Still unsure he he wants to come here on a permenant deal though. He wants to go back to Italy.
Robert snodgrass has chose hull over Sunderland. Pleased as I'm not a huge fan.
Ashley Williams is still wanting more money to come aswell.

Yep that's been going around for a month or so now. Would be a good signing, he's a bit injury prone, but I'm sure Van Gaal can get him past that because he is a good defender and we need at least 1 or maybe 2 centre backs to come in. The rumoured fee is around £10 million, I'd assume when Belgium are through with the World Cup we'll tie up a deal. Also probably waiting for that injury he had suffered during the world cup to clear up. What I'm also hearing is that we're looking at another 2 central midfielders, one in Italy and one in Spain. Rumours are that it's Vidal from Juventus and maybe Khedira from Real Madrid.

Sunderland news borini bid will be accepted in the next 24 hours.

| Yes, he's the guy. They also signed Chris Weale from Shrewsbury, so I think he's going there as the Number 2 keeper. | |

To be fair, he had a good season, just prone to howlers. With Krysiak, he will make a mistake every game he plays, most of the time it's a case of whether or not he gets away with it. A fair number of his cock-ups are when he's got no-one around him, he'll spoon a cross, drop a corner, rush out of goal and run past the ball, break a defender's back in training... As a No 2 keeper for Yeovil, he'll do an okay job.

| How can a team that is banned from signing players be in talks with a player who is banned from all forms of football for 4months?
Have I missed summit? | |

| how can they make Messi and Suarez work in the marketing department. Messi has been marketed as a little angel capable of no wrong and Suarez is the enemy of football.
Messi will be leaving i'm sure of it. And if he doesn't them Barca have to win the Champions League and the league and the cup or they've failed with that front 3!

| Boro have signed Kike form Real Murcia, came out of the blue really with Jelle Vossen and Danny Graham being the two players we have been strongly linked to.
I think Arsenal have signed a right gem in Alexis Sanchez. I think he will adapt to the premier league quickly.

| I wanted us to sign him but I guess we might be going for Di Maria and Vidal. If they can keep their players fit like Ramsey and Walcott, Arsenal will have one hell of a first eleven. Just need to pad the squad out a little bit, a proper striker coming in would help them immensely.
As for us, more and more rumours about Vidal popping up, one of the top papers from Chile says we're in advanced negotiations with them, papers in England and Spain say we've agreed personal terms with Di Maria just need to sort out a fee.
