Gibson might be used in a make-way for Rodwell. That's one of the rumours going around. I thought they would have gone for a forward or either a defender with Distin, Jagielka, Coleman and Hibbert being injured.

I read it was £2.5 to rise to £3m??

I would have thought City would be looking to get rid of Bridge permanently, even more so when you consider how much they're digging their heels in during the negotiations with AC Milan over Tevez, who want Tevez on loan until the summer.

I can't see Wenger wanting to keep Bridge on at the end of the loan.

Wenger only wants a LB on loan till then end of the season as he feels our other LB are fine but wont be fit till next season

that makes no sense in business though. You want to get as much as possible to make a profit lol. You're going to look goofy if you don't make the 6m that liecester offered, regardless of sell on, you'd have made a profit

This may have to go on the thing that boils my piss, people not knowing all the facts then stating as if they do, we rejected the offer for Maynard simply enough because Maynard himself said he didn't want to go to Leicester, he wanted to go to the premier league. So even if we did accept it wouldn't have matterd as he would have turned them down.

Nothing on you Sexton but i've seen that message of city are stupid for not having taken £6m so many times its rediculous when it was made public by either Steve Lansdown or Colin Sextone (can't remember which) about Maynard not wanting to go to Leicester.

which is suggesting the reason you will accept is so you don't have to pay us. Instead of saying it's 2.2m because we have to take what we can get as he will leave for free otherwise

which is true, you have to make what you can as he has said he will leave anyway. Wigan knowing this can make a smaller offer.

So it would be bad business if it was for the reason you suggested
