He was on loan at Exeter the season before last - not a Championship level player at all. His goals-to-games ratio is pretty poor.

weve said we won't sell to a championship team, and it would still take a considerable offer otherwise we will just let his contract run out hoping we put in a good enough performance to either get promoted or half way through persuade him to sign again.

If he goes this summer i dont see us getting much more than 2.5-3 mil so would get £150k tops from it

I only said what he would go for this summer to highlight the likely amount that the sell on clause would get you

Arsenal should do a swap Fabregas for Villa, as Barca are apparently trying to punt him.

This Fabregas to Barca thing has been going on for what seems like decades.

city would buy villa wouldn't they? Villa and silva is dream team stuff. So barca can just increase the money offered as city would be providing the funds. Thats what I think will happen

Is it only me that thinks Fabragas is over-rated? Yes he is a great player but world class? Not for me. I doubt he'll even get into the Barca team. I think Arsenal want around 35million.

Pretty much any team would want Fabragas in their side, although he does seem to go missing in the biggest games.

Regarding Fabregas, What I said came out wrong. Even I would struggle to get in the Barcelona team

He is a good player but I wouldn't say world class. I would say LAmpard Gerrard and possabily Sami Nasri are better players than him. I just think if he was that good then more teams other than Barcelona would be trying to sign him. Just my opinion.

I think they want him more for squad depth or as a potential replacement for Xavi. That's the rumour that's circling around.
