I'm not sure want to think of mogga getting the job,I love the guy and is Boro through and through but i don't know if he can turn this mess around.
He has a good record in the championship and knows what the league is about.

I don't know a great deal about Mogga to be honest but personally I would of went for Paul Ince. Agreed Mowbray is experienced at championship level but to he doesn't seem the right guy to get you out of this mess. He seems 'too nice' for the job - if that makes sence

With the ex celtic players here that he got rid off,it will take some time to get the dressing room on side.

There are 4 or 5 i believe he got rid of, butdid they leave because of Mowbray or did they just follow Strachon? If they just followed Strachon then i think the guys who left may not mind playing for him.

Its a wide open league anything can happen but it will be hard.

I'll offer some views on Mowbray from his time at the Albion.

Personally I loved the bloke,changed us completely especially the shite we were playing under Bryan Robson to an exciting,attractive football team.

Championship you will be guaranteed great attacking football and a hell of a lot of goals to boot.However,He is very one dimensional,not in the route one sense of the word but in the fact that is the only way he can play,he doesn't have a plan B,Which is why we got relegated as we brought the players to have a Plan B but he used them too late.

You will not grind out results,and to be frank some of the defending,particularly from set pieces,will be appalling.

Give him a year to get the players he wants(Like he did with us) and he will get you up,whether you stay there is another matter entirely.

Personally I think he's the wrong guy. I have nothing agaisnt him but he is a Middlesborough lad and the fans will want instant success - and I don't think he'll get it. As you say Mat, it will take time. I just hope they are patient with him

We are normally patiant with managers and I think mogga will be given time to get things right.
The last manager who had any type of plan B was stevie Mac so we are used to tha.
