Apparently we are interested in Maynard,Didn't really have much service when he played against us at Home so haven't seen much apart from 20 seconds on the Football League show and against Newcastle.
From what I've heard seems to be able to make something out of nothing so could be worth looking at however could he play up front by himself in our formation?
although if you have 2 or 3 ams/wingers supporting could work a little like valencia's attack. Surely you will have to employ new tactics though anyway, cos well it didnt work last time really. like birmingham :p

i reckon he'd play alot for a club like fulham tbh they have one true striker and well last year he was a goon. I'd say bob and nicky would be absolutely brilliant, fuck fulham would be epic in truth. Then gera and clint can play out wide and rotate as cf when nick does not play. Oh yeah andy johnson forgot he existed lol. Even better for challenge if fulham want to move up prem.

not the best article but our site editor cant spell or write in sentances so its good for him...
Crewe Alexandra boss Dario Gradi says it would be 'very nice' to receive a windfall for the transfer of Nicky Maynard to the Premiership this summer, but he doesn't expect 20% of any profit on the Bristol City striker after recently talking things over with Nick's mum!
Dario, who has championed his former striker as a possible England International of the future, told us: "I wouldn't dream of telling Steve Coppell anything about his players or what he should do. Someone asked me how good Nicky Maynard was and I said he was good enough to play in the Premiership.
"I have also said that he could play for England in the future if he can continue to progress in the right way. Of course, it would be nice for us one day to receive the sell-on fee for him, but having spoken to Nicky's mum and from the Bristol City chairman has been saying Nicky is happy at Bristol and they haven't had any interest in him.
"I am not sure if that will change once the transfer market gets going, but from what I have heard he expects to start next season with Bristol."

Gradi tips Bristol City's Nicky Maynard for England cap
Maynard joined Bristol City from Crewe for £2.25m in July 2008 Crewe manager Dario Gradi believes Bristol City's former Alex striker Nicky Maynard will play for England.
Gradi told BBC Radio Stoke that Maynard is good enough to have been named in Fabio Capello's England squad for the World Cup in South Africa this summer.
"I don't think it's likely he would be selected from a club like Bristol City, so I don't imagine that he's even been considered," said the Crewe boss.
"It's a pity that the World Cup has come two years too early for him."
Gradi continued: "I think he could break through for the next one because I think he's an outstanding striker.
"I know him inside out and Nicky has always played well at the level that he's been picked. He's doing that for Bristol City."
Maynard, 23, came through the youth ranks at the Alexandra Stadium, making his debut at the age of 19 and scoring 35 goals in 67 appearances before a £2.25m record transfer to Ashton Gate in July 2008.
He has scored a further 32 goals in 90 games for City, including 21 last season, and has been linked with a move to the Premier League, a step up that Gradi believes Maynard could comfortably make.
"If he went this summer, it would take him a season or so to become a big hit, but he would adjust and he would be good enough," added Gradi.
"I think the best finisher we've had in my time here [at Crewe] would be Dean Ashton, but Nicky wouldn't be too far behind that.
"He'll score goals that Dean couldn't score because he's much quicker."
