Mr Anderson vs The Pope? (may contain spoilers from Lockdown/iMPACT!)

So the Angle/Anderson fued ended, with an epic match at Lockdown. And AJ Styles will (hopefully) now be busy with RVD, leaving The Pope with no real opponent. Perhaps TNA will just continue his fued with Wolfe or even AJ?

But personally, I think it would make great sense to have Mr Anderson start a fued with Pope. The promos between the two, could be funny as hell or deadly serious. And both are doing well, pushing towards the World Title.

This could potentially turn into TNAs biggest heel and the biggest face. Although I understand people like Jeff Hardy, RVD & (a face) AJ would always get the biggest reactions. Was suprised at the lack of crowd support for Pope, at Lockdown, TBH. But Anderson is a great heel and he could really gets the fans behind Pope.

What do you think should happen with both guys after Lockdown?

They could put on a great match no doubt, Pope has upped it quite considerably from WWE and have enjoyed his push. I'd like to see a feud with possibly Beer Money and Pope bringing in a tag partner such as Somoa Joe.

Or possibly Sting and Pope

I'm not sure a tag team would benefit Pope much. I'd like to see the X-Division be what it's billed as, 'it's not about weight limits, it's about no limits'. Have guys like Anderson, Pope & Wolfe fight for the X-Division Title. Either that or have the Global Title actually be a mid/upper card Title. Did 'Big Rob' even have it with him last night?

I agree with new jack. Make the glogal title mean something or go back to they way it was in the X-Division.

And Also, I think The Pope should stay as a singals guy. No-one really you could team him with imo.

Anderson/Pope? Yes please, both these guys could help propel the other one, Angle/Anderson has been a pretty good and prolonged feud, another one with Pope could be brilliant and set Anderson up for the home straight run with RVD which leads to BFG
