One thing got me thinking during the entire speech from Vince and HBK on RAW is that what if history repeats itself?
I presume that Bret has been wooed back to WWE to right the wrongs of the past, to gain closure upon an event that pretty much became his albatross.
But what if Vince and HBK haven't quite yet again been 100% upfront with their plans?
What if the 'Only good things will happen' is in fact a homage to a return to the Attitude Era?
Kickstarted by Vince's actions at the Montreal Screwjob.
What if Bret's been sweet talked with false promises, believing he's finally getting his redemption but Vince, HBK and HHH once again screw him?

are WWE in Montreal any time soon?

Mania itself is in Arizona which is where HBK is from.
No trips though to Canada during the length of Bret's contract

Oh yeah, sorry haven't heard about it for a while In all fairness I don't think anything like that will haooen again. I genuinely believe that everybody concerned (the exception being a certain Mr Helmsley) want this to work

it would be bigger then anything they could otherwise do, for years Vince has said Bret screwed Bret if it were to happen Vince could be saying he finally got what he's wanted to do for years he got to screw Bret

im with you macs the last time these guys were in a ring together was back in Survivor Series 1997 when the Montreal Screwjob happened. What occurred after that? ATTITUDE era, the Monday Night Wars, the creation of the Mr. McMahon character and in short another BOOM in the wrestling business. good things will happen could mean WWE might change their PG rating and their storylines and one of the reasons for this is TNA is going one on one with them during Monday. This will be another Monday Night War II and I hope this will be a lot better and I also hope that neither company will shut down like what happened to WCW. This is great for the Wrestling Business

also It has been rumored that the Hart Dynasty has been called to appear on Raw do you think it is possible that after DX beats Jerishow right after the match while the champs are still celebrating Bret comes out and says you know what Shawn you screwed me so i'm gonna screw you with having another tag team match right now and out comes the dynasty who wins the tag titles in money in the bank style?

I think if that happened, it would be bigger than the Montreal Screwjob, it would be absoutly massive, but I just can't imagine it happening, I can't see WWE pulling off such a huge move and making it impossible for Bret to ever come back to WWE and push Bret towards TNA I would think.

yeah if it happened again bret would definitely go to tna just to fuck with wwe

but the reaction for the WWE would be massive and possibly more of a draw then more Bret by that time considering the little amount of wrestling Bret can do
