Book Ted DiBiase Jr's face turn

Self explanatory really, how do you think Ted will turn face when the time comes for him to promote The Marine2

I think its far to early to be turning him just now, John Cena is scheduled for a re-match so that keeps Orton busy, I think I'd rather see Ted win some sort of tournament which makes him the #1 contender, Orton could interfere in his match with say Shawn Michaels and it would allow DiBiase to pick up the win, then the next week on RAW they could open the show and Orton could celebrate the fact that with DiBiase securing the #1 contendership then it automatically means Orton will have an easy match at whatever PPV is the next one since Ted wont try and beat Orton, then Ted can disagree and tell him that this could be his once in a lifetime opportunity and he is going to take it then in the next couple of weeks they have have beat-downs and what not

I think this would be best done between Armageddon and The Royal Rumble as Ted might not be considered a big enough name for a PPV title match but the Rumble sells itself so I doubt it would effect the buy-rates

It's interesting that you say it would be best done around Rumble time. Does that mean you think either Orton or Ted will be in the WWE title match at WrestleMania 26 (even the both of them) or will the winner of Orton vs Ted at the Rumble lose to say Cena at No Way Out?

I can't see Ted competing in the WWE title match at WM even if I think it's plausible and I don't know who Orton would face, I can't see them having Triple H vs Orton 2 years in a row and I can't see Cena being given another shot and he won't win the Rumble again either. Oh no, a Batista return!

Ted Dibiase could be a decent shout for MITB next year...

Anyway, how I'd do it: making the Million Dollar Man GM for the night would start it all off, and he'd give Teddy a world title shot because he's his son. Then, in the world title match between him and Orton, Ted has Orton beat, only for Cody to come out and interfere, DQ-ing Ted and Orton retaining. Ted demands a rematch, and his father grants it, but whoever is GM (needs to be a heel) the following week scraps that match, and gives Orton the week off. Instead, he makes a battle royal, with the winner getting a world title shot at the next PPV (I'd do this for Armageddon). Obviously, Ted is entered, and gets down to the last 3, him, HBK and Trips. Trips grabs the mike, and announces something along the lines of 'Dibiase being good enough to beat Orton', and they'd love to watch it at ringside to prevent any interference', that kind of thing. They then both climb over the top rope and give the win to Ted.

At Armageddon, Orton barely retains, and Teddy heads into the Royal Rumble. He goes in early, and does the iron man, staying in until the last 5 or 6 wrestlers, before being chucked out by a big name, like the Undertaker. I'd also have him eliminate a big name heel (Chris Jericho would be perfect) somewhere along the way. At No Way Out, he has a 1-1 match with Cody and beats him comfortably. Orton retains his title in an elimination chamber, and goes on to face, I dunno, HBK in the main event of Mania.

Ted qualifies for the MITB, wins, and cashes it in by challenging Randy to a match at Summerslam. None of this 'cashing it in when Orton's hurt' rubbish, he challenges him to a straight 1-1 match, giving Orton about 3 weeks notice. I'd also make sure that up until this point, the only 2 matches Randy and Ted have is the Raw match, followed by Armageddon. I'd also have Orton acting as a coward, attacking Ted at every opportunity to avoid matches with him.

I don't think Ted is anywhere near ready for a World Title run let alone a main event slot at WrestleMania, not sure about who would go into Mania as the Champ but I know I'd have Orton go over Ted if they met at the Rumble
