| Did anyone else notice how long that beatdown went on at the end of SmackDown! on Friday?
It got me thinking, does anyone else think it was scheduled for Umaga to actually turn face (officially) by backing up Triple H from a 3 on 1 beatdown or do you think he might have been added to Legacy? while Manu might not have been the right look Umaga is a far bigger name and proven performer so he could have been added!
Umaga has been getting good face pops in arena's all over the place since his return, so it might have been time they decided to build on that (he should never be a face in my opinion)
I just felt there was too much and too long of a beatdown as if they where trying to kill time, also I didn't think it made much sense for Orton to start attacking Triple H the very next show after he made a deal with Triple H, surely if he was going to attack him 3 on 1 doing so when they had him surrounded on Monday would have been just as effective

| The beatdown had to last for a while, as Trips needed to be given a chance to fight back and show that although 3 men took him out, it took them a damned long time to do it!
And would it have made sense for Umaga (an uncontrollable savage) to help Trips? I mean, going by the gimmick, it would have made more sense for him to attack all 4 men in the ring.
And you're quite right, Umaga should never be a face!

| I just felt it lasted far to long, since his return they hadn't really booked him to be a face or a heel and the finish for this match was the run in, he wasn't meant to do the job to Trips, I'm not sure, I just don't think Umaga if he didn't get injured would have just disappeared to the back | |

| I said the same thing about the beatdown going on longer than a normal one in another thread.
I'm not sure though that Umaga was going to get involved, I just think Umaga got injured but the match was supposed to go on longer.

| Your probably right about the beatdown lasting longer since the match finished quickly, its just because Legacy jumped the rail almost immediately, so I thought they where just doing as was planned | |

| Umaga's not doing anything, so he might get turned, but unless he starts to talk, he'll be hard to buy as a face. | |

| In the old school factions there would normally be an "enforcer" of sorts so in my opinion Umaga would be a perfect fit for Legacy in this way. What Legacy still need is another group for them to compete with. DX and the Nation were brilliant at playing off against each other and I think Legacy need another group to take them to that next level. | |

| Isn't Legacy all about "next gen" and all that shit? They'll have to work in an angle that he was the lovechild of Papa Shango | |

They'll have to work in an angle that he was the lovechild of Papa Shango surely its just about family ties getting you ahead quicker and getting you respect and we know umaga has the family tree to make people quiver

What is this old school you speak of? As for the comparison, don't agree, why? well there is nothing that could compare with Legacy right now, if anyone got together it still wouldn't sell as main event faction so Legacy simply wouldn't be in the equation When we talk about DX and the nation I think we all need to remember it was a mid card faction back then with midcard prospects, as good as it was it was no more no less
