Breaking News: TNA Champ Kurt Angle Injured

The PWTorch Newsletter reports that Kurt Angle was unable to wrestle at Saturday night’s TNA house show in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Kurt said he suffered a groin injury on a movie set this week.

Kurt had trouble walking, but he did sign autographs after the show.

He is scheduled to wrestle in the main event of Sunday’s TNA Victory Road PPV against Mick Foley in a title match. There’s currently no indication of a lineup change for the event.




Maybe bobby lashley will replace him and become TNA champion in his first match

Bearing in mind he won an Olympic gold with a broken freakiung neck, I'll be somewhat surprised if a groin injury means he misses a PPV...

Yeah I'd expect him to work through the injury, although TNA may decide to switch the title back on to Foley. And although I did enjoy Foley as champ from a charcter point of view, it would be the wrong decision to put the title back on him.

i can see a short match with lots of submission holds which take forever to break then Angle retains after that they'll have him promoing on iMPACT till he's healed up

He'll be fine. Like Grecian said if you can compete with a broken neck he can easily compete with a groin injury

Update On Kurt Angle's Status For Tonight's Victory Road PPV

As reported earlier, Kurt Angle was unable to wrestle at last night's TNA house show in Winston-Salem, North Carolina because he suffered a groin injury while working on a film earlier in the day.

In an update on the situation, Jeremy Borash wrote on his Twitter account that he's feeling much better this morning and will be good to go tonight.

No surprises then that he is fit for tonight
