- WWE has decided they will not be offering Ric Flair a new contract and the word making the rounds is that they have no plans to use Flair on television. This is largely being considered a business decision on the part of WWE as they don't want to sign him as they don't want anyone under contract whose bookings they don't have full control over.
This news comes just one day after Elaine Gillespie of Gillespie Talent, who handles Flair's non-wrestling bookings, sent out a statement to the media letting people know that Flair is still available for bookings through them and not WWE even though he has been on Raw recently. ProWrestling.net also noted that WWE brought Flair to the TV tapings two weeks ago in Charlotte, NC in hopes that it would swerve backstage leaks going out saying Flair was at the show and giving people the impression he would be announced as the new GM when instead they went with the surprising Donald Trump announcement that ending up only lasting a week. | Nah,I doubt it would be anyone like Chavo and didn't think it would be Flair at all to be honest, what I do think though is that Flair was their in some capacity for a Batista angle, now Tista is injured their is no need for him | |

| Yea, I'm not sure what he's doing, he should be involved with Wrestling though, I knew he got sick of it but I thought I read he said that doing that thing with Hogan got the old fires burning again, get him in the WWE ASAP | |

| Seriously, I'd really like to see Roddy Piper as the GM as long as he is a serious GM and not a funny type, one of the best of all time on the stick | |

| This really sucks for Flair, cos from recent reports it looks like he burned his bridges with ROH because he was expecting to be a regular on screen performer for WWE. Guess it's off to Japan for one of those mega bucks matches. | |
