| hmm, very interested to see how this develops and to hear why it happened. doubt he'd be in the nation of violence though he will still have 90 day no compete? | |

| Not sure I imagine he will have a 90 day no compete, which actually might be good for TNA if Joe is injured, he could be off screen for a while then both could come in together | |

| It's stupid this 90 day no compete, I get it IF they walked out but they fired him? It's like getting fired from a warehouse job and being told you cant work AT ALL for 3 month.
Umaga was a good character, dunno about any long term thing he could do now though. They fucked up having him talk like they did, it went from a bunch of mumbled half scream- word's to full on perfect Queen's, no transition- slightly reminiscent of Kane when he uttered his first word's away from the voice box.

| I don't think its just being fired though like a normal job, they will get three months wage, it's more like gardening leave, in certain jobs you sometimes get a months wage with the instruction you can't work for anyone else for that month, the WWE allow the guys to make a buck though, just not for the competition, thats why they will pay them the 3 months wage, I'd suspect wrestlers have a choice NOT to take it, but what would you rather, get paid for three months holiday or start working ASAP on reduced wages | |

| Never Didn't expect this mind, reckon it could be down to character disagreements or something like that, can't be performance related. | |

| According to a couple of gossip sites, he's been telling people he quit.
No idea if he did, but seems unlikely - he's not a big enough name to get a huge contract in TNA, and Japan doesn't pay any near what a high mid-carder in WWE would earn.
And like Kennedy, it seems dumb that they kept him on all the while he was injured, then push him on his return and then fire him? Makes no sense.

| Sadly, everything does point at him using something.
Just a thought, but do poeple get Wellness tested while they're out injured? Could explain both him and Kennedy going so quickly after they came back - they picked up bad habits whilst laying at home.

| Or, of course, they needed to clear a space for the returning upper card monster heel that is Chris Masters.
I hope to all that's holy that's not why they've fired him.

| I would hope not too, if they want Masters on SD! then Umaga could have been a great fit for RAW, particularly Legacy as he and Orton are said to be really close, that being said, Orton is meant to hold a lot of power now in the E, maybe he wasn't happy with what Orton said about Manu and let him know about it | |

| Oh, I don't think they do get Wellnessed, they could but I've noticed when guys come back, Triple H in 07 and Batista this year that they are a lot bigger, also, I thought Umaga looked as if he had dropped a couple of sizes, said so in fact just last week | |

| I can't see why he would quit when he was doing so well. Also if he failed a wellness test wouldn't wwe have had to announce it. | |

| Nothing's been announced yet so who knows if it where, it might not have been a wellness test but he could have been caught with stuff, their is more to this than meets the eye just now, doubt it will be for anything stupid | |

| They could, I'm wondering if Kennedy and Umaga are over enough with fans to possibly do a Scott Hall/Kevin Nash style invasion to TNA | |

| How would you package Umaga in TNA though, the only impact he made was as Umaga, TNA wouldn't be THAT cheaky to rip that character off, would they??? | |

Eddie Fatu | |

| Is Umaga related to Rikishi because didn't Rikishi use the name Junior Fatu when he was in TNA? What was Umaga's gimmick in TNA? And i think that Mr.Kennedy could work as one half of a Hall/Nash style wcw invasion gimmick but i can't see it working well with Umaga. | |
