Despite rumours he'd signed on his own terms and would skip developmental, he was promptly sent to FCW to be cleansed/homogenised to work "the WWE way" thus robbing him of the individuality and talent he had in the first place, influencing the signing. They even renamed him "Espiral" (unimaginatively inspired by the spiral pattern on his mask). It just goes to show that any talk of Bryan Danielson not working for developmentals is just talk; he, too, will be moulded into a generic wrestler. Nonetheless, it was exciting to see that the E had finally signed another luchador.

With Rey Mysterio's future in a little bit of doubt, and with Smackdown traditionally seeking the Hispanic demographic, you'd think now was the time to be bringing up a big and strong charismatic luchador to invest in the future. This decision to fire him seems sudden and nonsensical, like many decisions in the E.

not that this will really add to this conversation but WWE is just taking great talents from other places and burying them anyhow The American Dragon is prolly screwed as was this guy, as is Christian who deserves better than what he's getting
