Shocking, two actual guys who could actually improve the show, no doubts Helms will be heading to TNA along with Moore and Hardy

Bit surprised about Maria, I guess she's asked to go and try and break into more mainstream entertainment.

Helms, not surprised at all about him. Burchill, disappointed he's gone, but again, not hugely stunned.

The Writing was on the wall for Maria as soon as they wrote her into being pumped from Matt Hardy, I think they where hoping she'd commit suicide to save them the severance pay

McCool and Layla were right, relationships are always a disaster for Matt Hardy lol

Could they bury Hardy anymore? they should make some sort of reference on it on SD tonight if they edit it quick, they could just say shes left him for Helms, and they have both left the company

I was, and I wasn't, suprised to see Burchill released. He seemed pretty good to me, whenever I saw him (which wasn't often), but maybe that was just the English connection making me think he was alright? I would rather see Paul Birchill in TNA, than Helms (if TNA go after either). Although theres a more obvious place for Helms, the X-Division.

Burchill had all the tools, his biggest fault IMO is that he looked far to much like Triple H

Is that why he was a pirate?

Didn't see the gimmick at the time, but know of it. WTF was that about?

I think his best gimmick was The Ripper but he did well with the Pirate, I think I remember the thinking behind it, I think he traced his family tree and he found his ancestors was supposedly Pirates, or at least one of them where, so thats where he got that from

I wouldnt be surprised to see both burchill and helms in TNA, but i was surprised with Maria, i would have thought that she requested to leave, as she was popular with the fans (wasnt that diva slammy she won voted on WWE.com) and had some slight involvment in the piggy/mccool feud

Paul Burchill got the pirate gimmick after Pirates of the Carribbean, Disney threatened to sue, so they got rid of it.
