Thats a total shocker, at least we know why Punk went over him twice this week

| Something bad must have happened, they have made him look so dominant since his return, even had him talk on SD so they definitely had plans for him!
TNA must be rubbing their hands, thats him and Kennedy now that they can snap up

| I'd like to see them give him pretty much the same sort of gimmick in TNA and let him talk like the WWE were planning to do, you know thats where he is headed anyway
I was sure he was on course for a major push

Somebody on another forum said he had two before today but I can only remember the 1, when about 11 of them all got suspended

| I liked Umaga. He's definitely TNA bound, provided that he wasn't released due to Benoit like brain damage. | |

| Yea, like they would really just release someone like that, Vince is trying his damnedest to look like a good guy these days, they might never let him back in the ring or another arena but they wouldn't flat out fire someone for having brain deterioration, it would be gradual! | |

| Very surprising, thought he was one of the guys in Vince's good books after getting a fairly good match out of Lashley at Mania a couple of years back. A pretty good worker for a big man, and TNA should definitely make his signing a priority. | |

| I dunno, I'm not so sure he'll go to TNA, or even that TNA will try and sign him. After he got fired from 3 Minute Warning, he went to Japan and did pretty well out there. If he's going anywhere, that's where I reckon he'll wind up.
Bit shocked he's been fired though. I've watched the Strap match at Extreme Rules, and he didn't seem to do anything bad to Punk like Kennedy did to Orton. I know he's been caught once on Wellness in that big scandal thing, and always heard he was well-connected backstage with Orton.
This firing is pretty surprising, and out of nowhere.

| I could see Umaga as a genuine contender for the WHC and actually thought he would be a good first opponent for Edge after a face turn from Edge, thought they could put on some pretty good matches and keep Edge away from the title for a while, also, I was really desperate to see how they would work Umaga and The Undertaker, that was one of the main reason's Umaga was drafted last year
Disappointed although I'm expecting something to come out, doubt it was just for the sake of it, you don't give someone that kind of push on a comeback and let him go over your future World Champ on one PPV then sack him immediately after the next for no good reason
