You're right, he is very egotistical, and possibly sees himself as one of the all time greats (which he isn't). TNA was all about him until about 2005/6, but I could sorta understand that for the most part, as he was one of the few well known names in the company at the time. He did put over Robert Roode before his extended absence, which gave me hope upon his return, but it does look like we're headed for another JJ title reign, and even I won't support that.

I honestly think thats why Foley is the champ, thats the sole reason, despite the fact some of his promos have been gold, we all knew that anyway, I think he has given him the strap to justify his next run with the belt

It certainly looks that way doesn't it? Thing is, he's actually quite popular amongst the TNA fans these days, but I think if he does win the title there's a very good chance they'll turn against him. I don't mind seeing him in a main event from time to time, but there is no need for him to win the title, not when there are now several guys on the roster capable of carrying the company. But much like when they could have made Raven THE guy in TNA, it's likely we're headed for Jarrett domination.

The difference is that Jarrett is a wrestler and Vince isn't, so essentially Triple H takes that role.

Wouldn't say Triple H, because in his day, Triple H was and still is a major draw, where as Jarrett couldn't draw smoke from a fire, Jarrett was a perenial midcarder

Was only really making the comparison in regards to using their power to book themselves on top, often at the expense of others, rather than their overness.

I know but what I meant was at least Triple H being their is believable in a way since he was at one time considered the best in the business, Jarretts never been thought of like that

Was he ever actually considered to be the best in the business though? He likes to think of himself in that way, but as far as I remember there was always other guys on the roster who would be considered as the best, rather than Haitch.

I think around 2001 he might have been considered the best around certainly from the IWC anyway

Fair enough, I've always considered the two of them to be about on par in terms of talent. From about 99 onwards JJ was a really good competitor, hell even WWE considered puting him in a main event fued, til Austin vetoed it.

99 was the same year the WWF thought about putting Billy Gunn into a main event feud!

Gotta hope he sticks around for a bit, if hes in good shape, would offer something different to TNA which im finding very stale at the moment (well most wrestling at the moment is stale)

I think TNA really should be developing their own stars though instead of delving back into the pool of wrestlers with 'names'. They need to realize soon that they should be creating 'names not bringing old ones back other wise they will be in a bit of a predicament.

What has Raven been doing lately? Hopefully, he is in good shape be a real disappointment if nothing came of this. Would like to see a match between him and Abyss or him and Steven Richards, which is where I see him being used.

This weeks tapings should be good, then again its TNA...

It's ok rearing your own stars however not many guys out their come with the ring Psychology of Raven, if he can still cut it in the ring, then you obviously know he still has it in his head, then he should be on weekly wrestling TV

Too anyone who was wondering what shape Raven is in, just saw him on TV, he is in great shape, looks the leanest he has been in years

he's suppose to be in better shape than was in 2007/08

He's in great shape, I watched iMPACT! last night, really lean

Just now saw his return segment, all good, set up for the swerve well, just the hits with the kendo stick looked really weak but thats just a minor fault.

Looking forward to some decent matches now, hopefully some Fun House matches, Raven does add that little something extra to the product that someone like Abyss alone couldn't do.
