McGuinness seriously injured?

Dave Meltzer is reporting Nigel McGuinness suffered a fairly serious arm injury at the Ring of Honor house show in Elizabeth, PA on Friday. McGuinness worked last night's 7th Anniversary Show in New York City in what was described as the "match of the night". According to Meltzer, McGuinness' injury will require surgery but he is going to wrestle Jerry Lynn in Houston next week. He'll be out in a few weeks and could miss as much as six months.

If this is true, it will be a shame he will to vacate the title he has held for over a year now. Would have been good to see him to finally drop it to whoever.

It looks like its the only way they where going to take the title off him, many ROH fans have become bored of the run, a few seem to still enjoy it but there was a sense that it needed freshening up, one things for sure, it will hurt the next champion if McGuinness isn't the one to drop it.

McGuinness really needs to weigh up his options now, he has done all there is to do in ROH, he needs to step up to the big leagues now if he wants to make any serious money!
