ACCSSESING PPVS AND SHOWS-

I have now made it so you will have to be in the group to watch wwe shows as well as PPV .
I have done this so leechers cant view shows why us regulars use our hard effort to post these and contribute in wrestling forum and off topic forum e.t.c and u do jakc sh*e and can view stuuf.

well im turning heel and you must be in group to watch and ive removed people that promised if i let them in they would join in but they did not.

And im thinking off doing it for all videos but then again maybe not . Although why should you view matches dvds and all episodes of youre favourite tv programmes when you do jak shite.

Where can I read those rules? And by the way how does one get's in and out of that list what are for example the number of valid posts needed in a day or week in order to have the special access to shows and ppv's? Because I was denied access in the time frame of not being monday yesterday and today. If can answer, i thank in advance if not point me to where the rules are explain in the forum.

And just in case you think, "Oh my god, what style he's writing?" I tell you, it's the only way I can do this. My English is not the best and i'm thankful, if i'm able to understand your shortcuts or slang.

dude, i dont mind the ppv's. i understand that, but the shows? we get them for free on tv. im on here simply caus i cant watch smackdown, and i took an interest in TNA recently too, so i started watching it on here. i dont have time TO watch wrestling when it is on, u think i have time to post in a forum just so i can watch it on here whenever i want?

Hi, new guy here. I came over as a lurker from the other site, hoping I'd be able to continue watching these shows for free just as I had there. why? because I don't get television. No satellite, cable, etc.. Because of my time spent either at work or with my friends/family/girlfriend, i didn't have time to sit around and watch tv anyway, but with this i could always catch up on wrestling in my spare time. I don't have time to sit around talking about wrestling on a forum all day. nothing personal, its just not a productive way to spend my free time when i already have to hold down multiple jobs. i can understand you wanting to build a community here, but by taking away peoples ability to watch the shows (the main reason a person would come here in the first place) you are ostricizing many of your potential members. People will go to sites where they can get what they want immediately. Basing the ability/right to watch shows on post counts/contributions is biased. You won't gain the support or active member count you're wanting if you don't let people watch videos. By letting them watch, they'll see its a good site, and have more of a desire to make it even better. I have no desire to contribute to something that doesn't have an immediate payoff. Neither do most people. No offense to you or any of the members here, because just like all of you I love wrestling. I just don't agree the administrations practices.

i still think that you basically stole the members from the old board when it went down, and are forcing them to contribute to something that most of them are assuming they'll be getting for free. Its misleading. You've made your site a replica of the old board, and then once people sign up they find out that they have to work on a rewards system to get what they came here for in the first place. I'll be contributing, just because I enjoy wrestling, and I really enjoy being a hater. But i'm telling you right out, i think people should be allowed to watch the videos from the start so as not to be mislead. That or let them know in the user agreement that thats what they're signing up for.

If you don't like them then do not make a forum where people can voice what they think. you asked for feedback and ways to improve, i gave them to you. I'm not trying to start a flame war. I just want to watch the videos and think its bs that i can't. especially since its not based on any real type of reward system. it seems more that you decide who gets them and who doesn't, instead of a post count, length of membership, or any other normal way of dictating seniority. stop being an immature child by stooping to name calling. you're suppose to be in charge, setting an example for your members to follow. again, you're getting mad and name calling at someone who is trying to help out. thats why you got called a child (not a kid). I'm not trying to offend you, and i wish you'd try to wrap your mind around that for a second. I think this site could be fun, other wise i wouldn't be spending my morning here messaging. i would love to watch/talk wrestling with other fans every once in awhile. But when i have to have someones approval to watch the videos instead of there being a post requirement or the ability to watch them for free from the beginning, that inhibits the discussion. It makes it so those of us without the ability to watch the shows are unable to contribute. You getting all uptight and bashing one of your new members also does nothing to help. Especially when i'm trying to HELP. Is this getting through? I am not giving little short one word replies, infact quite the opposite. I'm taking the time to type out well worded responses/arguments, even when the admin himself is giving short snippy replies to my comments. I was not trying to flame your site. I just have my opinions, which i voice in the opinions/feedback section, just like i'm suppose to. i follow your rules, i make posts, and i even continue to contribute in spite of yourself.

I see youre point you have 10 posts but ven just contributing say 5 posts a day which would take what 10-15 mins of youre so busy life would be 30 a week which is enough by miles.

Again, for the second time now, I am not and have not called you a kid at any point. And I am certain you are not older than me. No adult types in the fashion that you do. And most people by my age have stopped watching wrestling sadly enough.

Its not that I don't think it could work based on a post count. It can/could. It seems to be doing alright. I am just giving my opinion that the site would do much better if the vids were free from the start. Or set it up so that new users must post a certain amount a week for the first month if they want to keep their account, similar to hotmail. Then you'll get you're posts, and we'll get our videos. There are many many many solutions out there, and i really think that the one being used now is the least reasonable for a wrestling site intended for discussions. I'll stop there though, because i can tell you're getting pissed and i'm not here to piss you off.

And so does that coding. Formulation should be able to provide a better forum for free. If not i'm certain there are better forums you can get with better options/coding. Insertlabel.net back several years ago was already running on just such a program. Maybe something to check into when it comes time for renewal?

alot of forums and webhosts have you do a monthly or 6 month agreement with them as part of your user agreement to create the forum in the first place (i assumed thats what you'd done, but maybe not). If it is the case, when it comes time for your contract/agreement/etc. to run up, you may want to search out a different host and forum program that has more flexible options. if you want i'll try to figure out who CMoney that runs IL goes through, or if he'd let you use the coding he wrote for it so that you can use it here on this forum. as far as the admin abilities it is top notch, and allows for a much more user friendly experience as well. just a suggestion.
