Evan Bourne

What would you do with Evan Bourne? ECW Championship? I think it would be hard to get him that story line. Intercontinental? Do we really want to see Bourne vs Marella? US Title? Perhaps bu i don't think Smackdown needs him. So the only thing to do is have him on the mid card in ECw which is shame because he is so talented.

Any ideas?

Move to Raw after Santino loses the title....get an Intercontinental championship....then maybe we will see him as a main eventer....next gen Mysterio

mid card on raw. a mid card storyline.

wrestling isnt always about titles, its about the final product (somtimes it looks like some creative forget this to feed egos of certain people)

have him help out kofi and suchlike midcard faces if any story develops. for now just build his reputation as hes fooking just come into WWE.

there are lots of others in wwe that deserve a push on any brand more than he does

The fans don't want to see Henry-Matt. And who will they rather like to see? Finlay or Evan? Not easy, but I would say, that Evan is a bit in front.
So there goes his first titlematch.. But he will def. not get the title.
Morrison and Miz are waiting for Matt and a titleshot..

If he gets pushed in the main event direction then it has to be done in the right way. No point in being against guys like Kane, Khali etc.
It needs to be done against the other smaller guys to make it believable, ones like Jericho etc. The booking is key to ensure it wouldnt be done in the way Rey held the title.

I think he'd probably be better off on Smackdown, where I feel he could work really well with Benjamin, MVP and Kendrick. On RAW the only heel I could see him working well with is Jericho, and I don't think there's any way he's gonna be pushed that far up the ladder.

Him being on ECW is just fine right now, he's young and there's plenty of time for him to grow, no need to rush him.

Can't ever see him being a world champion though.

Nah definitely not gonna be a World Champ, best he can hope for is a run with one of the midcard titles. To be honest, I'm kinda expecting this push he's been getting to dry up sometime soon, I think it was just as a sorta reward for managing to make Mayweather look ok in the ring.

Who Bourne? did he help train floyd then?

Aye while he was in developmental they entusted him the task of training Mayweather for that match, thought it was a strange decision at the time, but as the match turned out better than expected, I guess WWE decided the time was right to call him up to the main roster. You're right though, ECW is a good place for him just now, as there's plenty of smaller guys on that roster for him to work with.

I really don't think he'll get near the world title any time soon, or any time ever for that matter. He's a spot monkey really, he's good at jumping off things, and it's entertaining, but his mic work is worse than Jeff Hardy and I don't think he could be a serious main eventer like that.

At the moment I am enjoying him a lot, he is entertaining in the ring, and I wouldn't be suprised if WWE let him have a mid-card/ECW Title at some point this year, but I don't think he'll ever go further than that.

Matt Hardy wrote a MySpace bulletin ('cos I added him as I am cool ) that he would love to wrestle Evan Bourne, and to vote for him, I wonder if WWE told him to do this?

The two differences between Bourne and Hardy is that Bourne can actually wrestle if needs be and he doesn't seem like the the kind of idiot who would get himself suspended before the biggest match of his career.

But I just don't think he'll ever be a main eventer, look how long Hardy had to wait before he is finally looking like a realistic world title challenger. And now that both WWE and the wrestlers seem to have little patience when it comes to pushing superstars, I don't think Bourne will wait a long time and will probably move to TNA, of course I could be wrong.

I reckon he might be given one run with the belt but not for a very long time. I can see him taking another 5 years at least before he gets to hold a world title. I reckon he will be an upper midcarder for most of his career though.

If he can get some mic training and then maybe a heel turn, I think I could see him as a potential upper mid-carder but for now, I don't think he'll get past ECW Title/US/Interconetial.
