But I’m going to push the boat out.

Now to a lot of you, the first question will be Matt who?

So here’s a biog of someone who you will get to know a huge amount about in the coming years.

Matt Sydal isn’t a 3rd generation star, he doesn’t come from a wrestling family.
But he was born to wrestle.
When he started out him and a group of friends put together a professional level ring to train in.
From there he started to get noticed and was picked up by GCW , a small wrestling organisation in St Louis.
After that he moved further up the independent scene and had a series of matches with AJ Styles after becoming a regular for IWA. He also fought with other big stars of today CM Punk and Alex Sabin.
He then moved further up the ladder and joined ROH.
Again teaming up with Styles they fought for the tag titles against Austin Aries & Roderick Strong. He also paired with Samoa Joe and Jack Evans in title matches.
He finally got his hands on the belts when teamed with Christopher Daniels and defeated the Kings of Wrestling Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli.
Eventually losing the belts to the Briscoe Brothers (prob the best tag team going at present) he moved over to the Japanese wrestling circuit for a short while.
He returned to US shores to take part in MTV’s ill fated Wrestling Society X with others like Rick Banderas (Judas Mesias), Jack Evans, New Jack and Vampiro.
WWE finally came calling and he signed a developmental contract. On Dec 5th last year he won the OVW Championship but after OVW ceased their partnership with WWE he quickly lost it again.
Finally on June 3rd 2008 WWE fans caught their first glimpse of Sydal in a squash match for Shelton Benjamin.
Yes he loses, but he loses well, he takes good bumps and you see a glimpse of what he can do.
