WWE carry your storylines through, dont think, ha wel shut up smarks by writing this to get people talking about a mask then not intend to follow that road.

Kane the new psycho has now on one show jobbed to batista and rey mysterio. Pathetic.

Kane needs to move to smackdown, there are just too many big names on raw for any storyline to work without him jobbing.

But apart from JBL he is the only major heel on Raw, at the moment. Kane going to Smackdown would mean more JBL, and nobody can want that.

Apart from that I agree. Unless there is going to be a major swerve at Unforgiven, this will go down as one of the top five bollocksed storylines, IMO.

If all the torture-talk Kane gave us up 'till now does not mean anything than the last few weeks will only have established that Kane is, in fact, a deranged, angry man. But we already knew that, didn't we?

I agree here like. One of the most promising things on Raw was ruined this week. Is Kane just really really thick then? Because Rey looked fine to me, especially when he can knack "monsters" about 3 times his size. And why did he come back at Raw? At the very least bring him in at Unforgiven. It's wasted the months of build up with Kane excelling himself for nothing. There's no reason why Rey should be in the scramble either, they could have given some mid carder a chance like on Smackdown.

Its hard to watch somtimes, they expect you to just forget and not think its completly illogical.

Even if there is a major swerve i feel its too late and they should have just masked him up and not have him job to everyone for a while to atleast look a bit scary. At the moment the monster isnt scary, even to a 5 foot flea.

Its a shame as his spoken promos have been good to fair for the past few weeks.

In my opinion Rey Mysterio's return and attack on Kane on Monday Night RAW was simply a genius swerve from the writers, I am pretty sure that Rey will turn on Batista on Sunday at Unforgiven and align himself with the big red Machine.

I can see it now, if Kane where to win the title it would be a pin with seconds remaining, I could see Batista spear Kane and when he turns around Rey gives him a drop toe hold or a dropkick to the knees, whatever it would be would send Batista spiraling into the ropes and set him up for a 619, then after he hits that Batisata would jump up spin around right into a chokeslam from Kane and Rey would stop Punk getting to break up the count!

Maybe, but i think punk will be retaining so dont know how it could work. Suppose we will see.

I just think if its purely to get rey back cos cena is injured, then they could have had regal in the scramble to add some quality and keep rey away for a bit more.

Kane said he mangled his body, but he was fine on raw. So unless rey unmasks and has mass scarring its a fail in my opinion. a bit like the camera angle from the front of jbls cars 5 meters from cenas knocked out face, but he escaped.

I said from what weve seen, it makes no sense rey being fully fit jumping about all happy. which is true, i see it from a veiwers perspective, im not trying to guess what will happen any more. they tell veiwers hes broken and mangled and he isnt. which is plainly and simpley stupid and nonsensicle

Why did Rey not come back after Kane's first "Rey is dead" promo? Because they had not planed it then.

Why is he back now? Because they decided to end the storyline.

Why is he unharmed? Because they probably thought "Screw this, we'll pretend like it never happened, and hopefully people will have forgotten in a month."

It all just reeks of Premature Delivery for this storyline, like they were so desperate for a kid-friendly Mysterio to return that they blew their chance at an awesome continuation of that storyline.

i wouldnt be suprised if kane started to pick on somone else now and they can just put it all down to "that kane, hes a confused little devil, aww" so he could even take out jbl and be a face monster again :/

What makes no sense? that you take what they say for gospel? well you just after saying "i see it from a viewers perspective" so that pretty much backs up what I said to you on that you take it as gospel.

Also who said he was mangled and broken??????? Kane said he destroyed his sole, who has be worked with since that angle apart from Kane, I doubt they would have Kane continuing this 'angle' almost up to the end of RAW before being made to look a liar, Rey will simply be seen come Unforgiven as doing what Kane instructed him to do in order to either win the title or screw Batista out of the title, if Kane wins the title it would be doing two things.

You say your watching it from a "viewers perspective" however that is exactly they way I too am watching it, although I don't just buy whats laid out in front of me, guess thats the difference, you maybe correct, I can't say for sure you will not be right, however it shows how two people can watch the same thing with completely different viewing points

Not so sure Grendel, Like I say, if they announce Rey then surely they would have him in there plans for a return so if Rey was not hurt then surely he would be back ASAP - also Cole and Lawler did like to mention that no one had actually seen or had any contact with Rey since the night Kane apparently 'took his sole'

Kane also said he knew exactly where Rey was, so Kane would be the only one who could let him out surely.

If they have decided to end the storyline then why would Kane still be going to Adamles office moments before the battle royal and still claiming he has Reys sole?

aye, i know somtimes they do this to swerve, but as im not a mark i wont be like OMG its rey, i want the storyline to be good and really flow and make sense and at this point its hit a "what?" point. (and no i dont take it for gospel) just as it stands its NOT as entertaining as it should have been. but somtimes raw fluctuates from good week to bad week, overall i rated the show, but this story has made me lose interest, and thats R truth. fine they may swerve, but I cant sit there thinking ooh it may be good next week, this week it was not.

oh and kane DID say he mangled his body at some point - thats why he killed his spirit, he battered him so he had a reason to hide from site. like kane did when he had his mask. He made rey see wearing a mask isnt choice, its for need.

Don't agree, we have no idea if this angle is over yet so to talk about it as it has is just not conceivable, the only way to truly talk about how an angle has went good or bad is at the end of it when you know everything that has happened, I agree its maybe not as entertaining as it could have been but that is down to the Cena injury with Orton out and Jericho and Michaels locked in the big programme on RAW just now it didn't leave that many others although Regal would have been a good choice however he is still being punished for cocking up a large chunk of RAW.

Rey has been brought back slightly premature, however that to me suggests that is because he has a big role to play in this angle, you cant sit there all disappointed one week then the next week be all excitable if things do go the way you want them to, angles, all angles don't work like that, they need time to develop and Rey coming back as if nothing has happened has steadied the ship, it gives fans a bit of belief he is ok yet angles are mostly always about the swerve, the direction its taken.

Look at the Jericho Michaels angle, no one would have predicted the rout this took way back when, on the RAW in England when Jericho came out to Flairs music to 'talk' to Shawn Michaels.

This angle was 5 months in the making and Jericho has completely transformed his character his promo styles and even his in ring look in that time. not all angles can be brilliant every week.

Your right the Kane angle does leave you saying WHAT???????????? but its when the angle is done that you really appreciate that it has actually made you think about whats coming next, you may or may not be right however we are not hear to predict the future but to enjoy the angles for what they are and the more angles that have you saying WHAT?????????????? the more you will learn thats the best bit about angles.

Aye its creating debate, but it looks at the min to a humble fan that kane is a big liar. Ive taken a step back from thinking too much about wrestling of late and am watching it through the eyes of a fan thats being told stories, and it feels like it makes no sense, as i wont be blinded by the OMG yay its rey, but im trying to watch like a mark would to enjoy it more. But kane really did say he mangeld his body, im sure of it. thats why it seems nonsense.

I know what your saying with regards to which way you are watching it, I just watch it differently

at the beginning of the storyline everyone on here was expecting the mask to be Kane's and then BANG the writers hit us with the swerve that it's Rey's.
I think too thats there more to this storyline than a quick sweep under the carpet and forget it.
WWE in all their folly do pay a lot more attention to the 'intelligent' fans nowadays, they'd be aware that the fans were interested in this angle and I'm sure at Unforgiven another swerve is going to happen.

I agree with you Maccs, the WWE knew exactly how into this angle the fans where enough to hit them with a major swerve with the Rey mask, so I doubt they would just wipe it away without any explanation what so ever, they can't afford to turn fans off

I really can't see where this can go. Best idea I have heard is Rey screws Batista giving the title to kane, builds up a feud between batista and Kane to be settled at Survivor Series. I think this injury to Cena has really thrown the writers as to their future plans

i have to say the WHOLE storyline, even the "whats in the bag?" part of it all seems like it was rushed and they had no idea what they wer planning on doing and just done it rushed and at the last minute.

and if this WAS planned as best it could be, im betting its one of Prinze's ideas
