The TNA "They" storyline?

"They" Timeline:

- Kidnapped Samoa Joe.
- Joe video / says something I can't remember.
- Joe returns, says nothing about them.
- Weeks go by with no update.
- Sting mentions "they" too.
- ECW guys start showing up.
- Abyss turns and mentions "Them".
- Abyss attacks Hogan.
- ECW attacks Abyss.
- ECW says they aren't invading.

So my guess is that "they" are either voices in Abyss's head or TNA are forming some sort of WCW stable as the rumour from the latest Impact tapings below suggests:

Personally I doubt that is the "they" that Abyss has been talking about as Abyss would have been wearing red and black?

I do think that "they" is a completely different stroyline from Sting's. The way I see things going is a sort of faction warfare type theing with several different groups battling for domination. From last weeks Impact, I think it suggests that Raven is one of the guys working with Abyss, not sure who else will be with them however. Sting I think will be shown to have been in the right all along, and most likely will have some TNA originals in his faction. If the Joe kidnapping is linked in some way, it will show more foresight than TNA usually does, to be honest I think it's more likely that they just forgot about it.

could be like some people are "sleepers" like joe and abyss, abyss has been triggered though, or something.

if kidnap was a part of it, brainwashing or whatever.

sting however is talking like he is the face but misunderstood, he will probably end up fighting for himself and the people who got pushed aside by hogan?

and of course bischoff is clearly built to be a heel so im sure he is just sucking up to get more power, remember he was planning with flair at one point? hogan kept catching him. miss tessenbacher was on the phone sounding dasterdly the week before last too. although that made it seem like she wanted control, which i doubt, but is she playing eric, eric using her, etc or just together planning evil lol


i think in the end someone will want to split to new york, the big face will want to stay obv as you c ant come out to live crowd and say "hey cya, were leaving you all" hence bischoff never actually making the announcment he wanted to.

maybe get two rival shows out of it in the long run, done right that would be good.

So basically there's potential for ECW (or ECV2 ), Fortune, "they", ex-WCW and then whoever is left in plain old TNA to start a full on nutjob stable angle.

To be fair, I think TNA has been the best show/wrestling I've seen for years and years so I'm willing to go with them on anything.

just thought the kidnap was thought to be rhyno stevie, stevie was also abyss' doctor.. Hmm. It is interesting to watch tho

I'm loving it, especially when you don't properly think about it an aren't used to wrestling anymore.

I never even saw the the Raven turn coming. Proper looking forward to the PPV too, be great if ECW were proper let of the leash (Taipei deathmatch anyone? ) but should still be good regardless plus what is apparently a TNA PPV the Impact afterwards.

Also, the Raven turn must mean ECW are gonna stick round for longer than just this PPV, at a guess I would say ECW and "they" will feud probably, unless they do a shitty swerve and have "they" as voices in his head.

im just thinking raven was one who was in the kidnap guys suspected (bloody obvious and stevie and rhyno, but obviously foley and dreamer and 3d were not) but bischoff may have been as he was being a crazy cunt before then he started a real cheesey face turn, which i assume is that way cos hes a heel pretending to be a face (you kno the whole anderson type thing) bischoffs character id say is heel but pretending to be good by sucking up etc.

the whos on whos side thing should be good, and id guess sting kind of started that, who is really in it for the right reasons etc. even nash started questioning jj in same way.

just seen the old impact on bravo 2 and flicked it on and it was doctor stevie talking about mind control and how he owns abyss and always will do. If this is anything to do with it, so much props for tna.

and what happens in that episode next, raven confronts stevie then beats down abyss instead, taking part in the extreme therapy.

Just watched it myself also. It may be all connected but all of that was before the Hogan / Bischoff era.

i know aye, it fits so well though those impacts were shit too, just before erics heel turn where he cuts his hair off lol

i'm sure someone will have been aware at how it could cross over well.
