| Per show: the new age outlaws win the tag team belts.
The show opens with Daniel Bryan against Bray Wyatt. For me this was march of the night be far. It was brutal. Harper and rowans got sent to the back early on.The sister Abigail move into the barriers looked evil. A good win for Wyatt, but I felt that Bryan should of won this for closure on this fued that has been clearly rushed. Daniel Bryan looked hurt for real.
Next up Brock lesnar faces the big show. Big show is in the ring. Lesnar enters and before the bell attacked show and beats him with a chair - quite badly. Lesnar then demands the referee to ring the bell - while still holding the chair? The bell rings. Lesnar has chair above his head and about to hit show when show catches him with WMD. Lesnar felt it. It looked like it connected decent enough. The match was a little back n forth until lesnar hit the F5 for the win. After the match lesnar continues to beat down show with chair shots - including breaking one. Big show looked well pissed off with lesnar. Show also seemed to be holding his left arm a lot.
Then there was the rematch for the undisputed WWE world heavyweight championship of the world titles. I can't really rennet much about the match apart form 3 minutes in the crowd chanted "this is awful", "boring", "Daniel Bryan" and "Y2J". Both Cena and orton used there finishers and each others finished about 152 times, and each one was broke of kicked out at 2. They the fun starts. Cena had orton on the STFU when the lights went out with Wyatt's family. Lights back on, the wyatts are on the apron. Cena going for bray. Bray jumps off the apron. Cena turns into an RKO and orton picks up the win. After the match the Wyatt family beat up Cena. When its all done and the wyatts have gone, Cena walks back to the locker area looking half knocked out not knowing where he is. If you thought his acting in 13 rounds was bad, wait until you see this...
And now for the royal rumble match. CM Punk we knew was number 1. Seth Rollins was number 2. These 2 chaps lasted quite a long time. Kane was a 'surprise' entrant at number 5, going after punk. Punk eliminated him. Roman reigns stole the show beating Kane's record of eliminations by eliminating 11 guys and a bull. The other surprise entrants were sheamus and Kevin Nash.
During the rumble ambrose tried to eliminate Reigns. Rollins wasn't happy about that neither was reigns. A little later ambrose and Rollins trying to eliminate Cesaro when roman reigns eliminated all 3 in one go. Batista made his return at number 28. Kofi Kingston saved himself from elimination on 2 occasions. 1st one, he was thrown out and caught by Rusov (sp) who put him o to the guard rails so he could knee him in the rib cage. Kingston then stood on the barriers, and ran across it and jumped back onto the apron. He'll struggle to do something next year...
The final four in the rumble were CM Punk, Batista, sheamus and Roman Reigns. Punkwas catching his breath when Kane appeared from no where and grabbed punk over the top rope and then choke slammed him through the Spanish announce table.
The remaining 3 went back and forth until sheamus was eliminated (can't remember who by). That left Reigns and Batista. Another back and forth encounter with big Dave hitting what can be only described as the most terrible attempt at a spear in the history of spears, and he speared Romans leg!!! Both men get up after a minute of so and Reigns hits what actually was a spear. It was visions. Momentum with reigns. He grabs Batista to throw him over the top rope but big Dave reverses it and throws Reigns over the top. Winner of the royal rumble : Batista.
In the final moments o the rumble the crowd were once again chanting for Daniel Bryan and booing Dave Batista when he won. While watching it on sky it seemed that the noise of the crowd was turned down a fair bit because that's all you could here.
WWE must realise that Daniel Bryan is the hottest thing around. Id even say he is hotter than the rock, the miz and steve austin in their prime. i do think the crowd spoil parts of shows with chanting but last night I kind of agreed with them. The title match missed something and the crowd let them know early on. Batista winning the rumble is shocking IMO. I have never heard a wrestler being booed as bad as that for winning the Royal Rumble match. Both Batista and randy orton looked well pissed off with the crowd for chanting Daniel Bryan during their ring time.
Now Batista is going on to headline wrestlemania, I can't see who would face him that I would be interested in seeing. I feel now that orton will keep the title and face Batista at wrestlemania, unless batista gets challanged for his wrestlemania title match. Elimination chamber will be interesting, but predictable if the title is on the line. The main event of the biggest event of the year will end and the last thing you will see is the Dave Batista holding the title and the crowd shouting "no" "no" "no"
On the rumble itself I feel places were wasted on JBL and Kevin Nash. I thought Daniel Bryan was going to enter along with Brock lesnar. The rumble lacked star quality. Decent enough match but just missed something.

| Wyatt v Bryan definitely match of the night, could be Wyatt's making match as a big player too, that sister abigail into the barrier was brutal.
As soon as 29 came out I knew who 30 was and knew shit was about to go down. I think Sheamus should have entered the rumble a fair bit later, everyone knew Batista and Mysterio were in so their being late to the rumble added nothing. Batista looked like he was blowing barely a couple of minutes into the rumble.
I have to say though in the title match I enjoyed Cena/Orton using each others finishers.

| I think Bryan will walk out of WM as champion, just remembered reading MITB is returning to Mania this year. | |

| WWE really need to turn Batista heel becuase the fans already have done. I can't see him gettiing any cheers between now and Wrestlemania. Of course that would also mean turning Brock Lesnar face (assuming they go with Lesnar vs Batista at Mania. But then who wouldn't cheer at Lesnar hammering Batista with a chair for 20 minutes? | |

| As for the Rumble...
Can't help thinking it has started the set-up for the next generation to start coming through. Roman Reigns will win next year's Rumble. He's started to look every inch a megastar, his spear on Batista after Batista did one showed how awesome that move can look. Bray Wyatt had the match of the night, I absolutely loved that match.
Cena vs Orton was just a bit dull, really. Even when they were swapping finishers, I just wasn't hooked.
The Rumble itself was really good, one of the better ones for a few years. Nice that it told a couple of stories in there, I was surprised to see JBL enter and actually liked that spot. Couldn't help feeling a bit sorry for Rey, getting booed like that through no fault of his.
I can't see MITB back at Mania, I think people need to get used to the idea that Daniel Bryan will be a background player this Mania, nothing more. All I can hope is that he's getting an Austin-style slow build, it was 18 months from him cutting that 3:16 promo to him beating HBK at Wrestlemania. All I can hope is that Bryan will be something spectacular next year.

| I can/can't believe Vince is ignoring this much popularity to make his point.
You could sense it was coming during the title match. Surprised they didn't add him, he didn't need to win (though based on the crowd should have done).
However, Reigns was awesome, Wyatt grew into the match really well - seemed like they overran but I'm glad. Thought Cesaro was good, great swing and some good tough exchanges. Seamus' entrance was a good spot for a heel turn.
Crowd did spoil it a little from Rey's entrance onwards but you could understand where they were coming from.
Big Dave is a fuck though IMO, even though he looks like a match V Wyatt I wouldn't be surprised to see Cena/Taker to main event.

| right most things have been covered, but I watched RR (zzzzzz) and will offer an opinion.
Punk is obviously involved in the main storyline hence Kane screwing him, so he didn't need to win RR, Orton is the hand picked top guy, Batista is the supposed big shock return guy. Batista and Orton have history, as well with HHH obviously, even Flair is hanging around. WWE surely knew Batista winning would piss on people's popsickles, maybe expecting the crowd to focus on Punk not Bryan (hence him not being in it) I don't know, but it makes me suspicious. As well with EC being for the combined title (otherwise what else can be won in it) Rumours of MITB returning as people said, all gives a chance for Punk or Punk and Bryan to get involved with WM match. WWE probably don't want Bryan involved but may be forced to, but to me it all points to Punk fucking HHH Orton etc at WM. Cena taker lesnar and Bryan can beef up the other matches after the shite undercard with gold dust etc

| forgot to mention also. 1 title by default means one title match. It won't be Orton vs Batista full stop. It can't just be that, it really can't be. Unless vinnie mac dies live, then it's all good as it's not about the match. | |
