SummerSlam Thoughts - CONTAINS SPOILERS

Put the text into spoilers in-case anyone mis-clicks what thread they wanted to see.

Really you didnt see that coming thought it for the last couple of weeks that Bryan would win but then cash in then on monday when HHH was announced ref i new Bryan would win then HHH would pedigree him for a Orton cash in. Hopefully mean Evolution come back and FINALLY ORTON HEEL TURN!!!!!!

I always knew the cash in was coming but wasn't 100% sure Triple H would be part of it, loving it though Evolution hopefully back on our screens.

Orton - main guy (Triple H's role)
Triple H - mentor to the group (Ric Flair role)
Roman Reigns - Muscle
The New Diamonds in the rough - Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins

I was going in a totally different direction was this but realised Dean Ambrose would be the best 'diamond in the rough' and Triple H is a fan of his. From such Roman Reigns would be ideal muscle for the group, now they could either turn Seth Rollins face or keep the Shield together in the new Evolution.

No I knew Bryan was going to win and that Orton was going to cash in, I just didn't think that HHH would play a part in helping Orton cash in.

Bryans running knee to win the match looked brilliant.

Bryan vs Cena was one of those Cena matches that makes you think 'yeah, he's actually pretty good, when he wants to be.' Another Cena match against a smaller guy who can go where Cena has kept up with him.

A lot of what they did looked nasty as hell, the spot where Cena got him out of the corner and almost gave him a piledriver off the second rope made it look like Bryan had snapped his neck.

Punk vs Lesnar was great, those two matches made the card, in all honesty. The ring of fire was awful, Ziggler and that lot were a bit dull, ADR vs Christian was a good match, but the two main events made that PPV.

Also intrigued to see where it goes, how Vince fits in to it all, and how long Cena is out for.

Not sure how long Cena is back for but I would guess by the end of the year, apparently its expected he will take the time necessary to recover than push himself to be back quickly.

Which is why I think he will be back by Royal Rumble latest. So that he can have a fued set for WM30.

Pretty much agree with everything that's been said. Lesnar vs Punk was the match of the night for me with Bryan vs Cena a close second. Some of Lesnar's offense looked incredibly painful. ADR vs Christian was also very good. Christian has this knack for looking good in defeat. It's too bad that their match will get overlooked by the two main events.

And for the first time in ages we have a PPV that ends in such a way that I actually want to see what happens next.

Rhodes Vs Sandow being overlooked a lot, if they had an extra 5 mins or so that would have been a very very good PPV match I feel.

Just finished watching it. If HHH is starting an evolution type group I can see the shield turning face to side with Vince ( I can't remember hearing about the rough diamond thing you's are on about).

In Evolution, Orton was seen as the diamond in the rough to be polished up by Flair / Trips for superstardom...

Not read through yet as not watched Raw but Cena lost pretty damn clean - wow!

And Trips referenced it on Raw, along the lines of moulded from the coal into the new diamond....
