Another TNA Wrestling Departure Announced

TNA Wrestler Jesse Soresen, whom was also a Marketing Assistant for the company recently, has been released from his TNA obligations. Jesse confirmed the news on his Twitter account earlier today. Here is what he wrote:

"I have officially been released by @IMPACTWRESTLING Would like to say thank you to my supportive family, friends & fans."

Sorensen made his debut for TNA on the July 7, 2011, edition of Impact Wrestling as part of the X Division Showcase tournament.

Was he the one who broke his neck at a PPV?

Yes.

Could have had a good feud when he returned with Zema

He's been told he cant wrestle again.

Bit shitty of TNA to let him go after that but having a guy doing backstage stuff with hardly any experience, on a wrestlers wages, TNA cant really afford it, but they can afford Brooke & Hulk Hogan.

That makes sense ... the Hogans pay will be huge one of the main reasons there in this position & taking the show around america live every week.

They wouldn't be able to tour the US without Hogan, so it's catch 22. Stay small time or expand to gain more live fans with your product, whilst risking finances.

They need to improve their fan base, which is only possible by touring. One day people will stop chanting YES YES YES and WHAT? at TNA shows  

was Desi X a TV show to make sure people watched a "PPV" btw? It sucked arses. I feel they are still experimenting on how to get the most people viewing the product.

"My name is Jessy Sorensen(Jesse Sorensen) I am a former professional wrestler for TNA Impact Wrestling seen every Thursday night on SpikeTV," Sorensen wrote. "On Feb.12th 2012 during a live match on pay per view vs Zema Ion I suffered a sever neck injury sustaining a broke C-1 vertebrae & herniated C-5 & C-6.

"After a long recovery process and being promised by the President of TNA Impact Wrestling TNA Dixie Carter I would always have a job with her company, I recently was released from my current contract and shown that those promises were false."

Sorensen is attempting to raise $600 he needs for a bodybuilding show that takes place on October 5 in Tampa.

Sean Waltman took Dixie Carter to task on Twitter for what he sees as bad decision making for releasing Jesse Sorensen from the company.

"Classy move by @TNADixie on the release of Jesse Sorensen," wrote the former TNA wrestler late last night.

After fans took Waltman to task for his statement towards Dixie, Waltman tweeted, "Guy almost ends up in a wheelchair for life working for you. You tell them don't worry, you have a job for life, don't worry about anything. Don't be surprised when decent people think it's a really shitty move to pull."
