| Thought it was a pretty good show. In the space of 30mins we had ADR turn heel, Punk turn face and christian return (so much for a big story to bring him back)
Mark Henry fake retirement lead to him attacking Cena, looks like there going with that as main event at MITB :rolls:
I thought they kinda ruined the way theyve been building Bryan over the last month with stopping the match.
When AJ called out any Diva i thought for a second that Karma was returning.
Punk Vs ADR was a good match. ADR doing the vintage heel thing walk out on a match but Ziggler attacks him and got big cheers not sure if they'll turn him face.
Finally when Punk was announced the winner Lesnars music hit and he comes down and F5's Punk setting up Lesnar Vs Punk. Im sure Heyman was behind it as Punk told him he doesn't need him but this match will be quality imo.

| Thought they may have saved Punk Vs Lesnar for WM30. Have it build over who Heyman's top guy is building to the big event as they will need some top matches/feuds for it. | |

Nah think that'll be Brock Vs Rock ... I was expecting either Summerslam Or Survivor Series.

| Theres still 10 Raws and a PPV before SummerSlam, I think it was a bit early for Brock to show up and attack Punk. | |

| Thoroughly enjoyed RAW, same with Payback.
I thought it was well thought out and has lead to lots of questions and has set up a few feuds nicely.
The ending with Lesnar was fantastic too.

Nah think that'll be Brock Vs Rock ... I was expecting either Summerslam Or Survivor Series. Rock Vs Brock just doesn't sound appealing to me, not sure if thats just me though. Would much rather see Punk Vs Lesnar and Orton Vs Rock at WM30

The official WWE Twiter account teased that CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar would be taking place at the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view in August. Multiple WWE sources have since confirmed that the plan is to hold the match at SummerSlam and not the Money in the Bank pay-per-view next month. It should also be noted that the Punk/Lesnar feud, which was ultimately an inevitability at some point down the line, was decided on a few weeks back. As of now, the company is currently working on a plan for CM Punk for Money in the Bank. What can WWE be working on for Punk if he will be due to face Lesnar at the next PPV?

| I'd Keep Punk v Lesnar for WM30. Im with hodge, Rock v Brock doesnt appeal to me either and I'd assume the Rock is just abou done with wwe.
As for Raw, for me it was a good show where you wanted something else to happen but it didnt - it just lcked that 'something' but dont know what.
I agree the attack on Punk was too early. Seemed a bit last minute. Perhaps something didnt go to plan. I don't know. As I say, it lacked something.
ADR turn was on the cards from Payback. The way he kicked Ziggler in the head that many times then came out to after it. It had heel turn all over it. Ziggler coming out at 100mph was awesome.
I thought Awesome Kong was going to come out when AJ Lee set the open challange.
The Mark Henry Promo was awesome. I honestly thought he was retiring. I didnt see it coming. He should of been in Rybacks place since Wrestlemania.
Daniel Bryan looked injured for real after his match with Randy Orton. Perhaps thats where (if it wasnt planned) the lesnar attack came from. Perhaps they had to re-shuffle the show around.
I'm a bit worried about the Shield. Now Vince and HHH are bickering with each other what to do with the shield - they are going to be stuck in a bit of a hole. Perhaps they are running out of ideas with them as a group. The Wyatt family are just round the corner. We could see the beginning of the end of the shield.

The Lesnar attack had to be planned, can't see Brock turning up at WWE events just incase they wanted to use him, can't really have been last minute. Watching at the time I thought they changed Henry's retirement plan because Bryan having a legit injury worry. Offering Henry the world title match to postpone his retirement as I definitely think the Orton Vs Bryan match wasn't supposed to end that way. I thought Bryan would win causing Orton to get pissed off and go on one and punt Bryan.

There are little factions springing up all over the place. Colter seems to have added Cesaro whilst Swagger is 'injured' / in court. There's the Wyatt family, Heyman's guys, the Shield, 3MB... Starting to remind me of the gang-warfare era of the late 90's.

| On the point of The Shield, am I the only one who can see them doing Mr McMahon's dirty work for a while? Power struggle for the WWE storyline through the summer, come Survivor Series, match for control of the company, Team Vince and Team Triple H.
Team Vince along the lines of:
The Shield, Randy Orton & Wade Barrett/Ryback Vs Triple H, John Cena, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler & Chris Jericho/Christian

| There are conflicting reports on what went down between Triple H and Daniel Bryan backstage at RAW Monday night. As seen on RAW, Randy Orton defeated Daniel Bryan after the referee stopped the match as Bryan appeared to be injured. It was later revealed that he suffered a "stinger". As reported, the finish was a legit "shoot" as the original outcome had Bryan pinning Orton clean. This was being done to continue pushing Daniel Bryan as they have major plans for him this summer and he's expected to headline SummerSlam against John Cena.
After the match was over, Daniel Bryan was said to have been "irate" backstage and approached Triple H at the gorilla position. The two got into a heated shouting match with Bryan saying he's wrestled all over the world and knows how far he can go and how injured he really was. Triple H countered that they were protecting Bryan and didn't want anyone hurt, especially with major plans in place for him. The two eventually apologized to each other and Bryan is backstage at SmackDown tonight, where he will face Dean Ambrose as scheduled. There were several witnesses to this with a lot of them "shocked" to see Bryan so upset. Backstage, he's known as a "soft spoken, easy going" guy who never causes any issues. They were shocked at the fact that he was standing up to someone as high up as Triple H. WWE.com posted a video with Triple H late last night where he addressed the issue. The question is - were Triple H and Daniel Bryan "in on it" and set up a "shoot" atmosphere backstage? That now seems unlikely as the injury, which was legitimate, obviously wasn't planned beforehand and the backstage argument would have never occurred if he wasn't injured in the first place.

Would much rather see Punk Vs Lesnar and Orton Vs Rock at WM30 Does nothing for me either. Hollywood star vs UFC champion - Lesnar would have to win for realism, if nothing else. I can see Taker vs Brock at Mania 30, Cena vs Punk, something between Vince / Trips / Steph (her little bit with Vicky was interesting too, telling her not to listen to Vince or Trips hinted that she's up to something too...). Summerslam could be epic if they go with Punk vs Lesnar, Cena vs Bryan, Shield vs Kane & Taker - I like the sound of that more than I liked Mania.

- The word going around is that Monday's Raw script was rewritten during the afternoon by Vince McMahon, due to him not being happy with the original booking of the show. Stephanie doesn't count but thats why the show was a big improvement on the previous shite they've been putting out.
