Evan Bourne Breaks Foot

On his Twitter account, Evan Bourne announced that he suffered some sort of "accident", causing him to break his foot in four places and fracture it in five more places.

There's absolutely no word on how much time the injury will cause him to miss, but he was already on the WWE sidelines, just coming off of his second Wellness Policy violation a week ago. The company had no plans to bring him back until after WrestleMania, but obviously, his return will now be pushed back.

Stay tuned for further updates on the situation, including how long the injury will keep him out for, as it comes in.

Unfortunately, I think this could be the end of Evan Bourne.

That must have been a big accident! I don't necessarily think he's done as this may not have been his fault but he is definitely running out of chances

it's not about fault, it's about paying someone to sit on the sidelines as everyone forgets who he is when they could just cut loose and give someone else a go.

How much foot can you have left if you.ve broken most of it, recovery won't be easy by the sound of it. Unless he's telling porkies. Sounds brutal though like you'd need machinery to break it that badly

I reckon he'd be right up the list of people to be fired after Mania. By injuring himself, he can't be fired until he gets the all-clear from a doctor (Chuck Palumbo has said he got fired as soon as he was medically cleared to return), and if he's mullered his foot that badly, he's going to be out for a long time...

If he gets fired, he's not a big enough star for TNA to want, it's debatable whether he'd make much of a living on the indie scene - getting injured again may be his best bet to protect his job for a while.

Would he be a good fit for ROH? they've just got a tv deal so would still get exposure

Would RoH want someone with 2 very public drug suspensions?

if they were to consider that the 2nd was that it seemed he was trying to get his way out the wwe then they may forgive 1 suspension

can work a decent match and would bring some attention to the company. Bourne isn't happy in WWE due to whatever reason if RoH and Bourne could agree a contract and working hours etc that both would like I could see it being a good acquisition for them.
