| Liverpool a planning a £10million bid for Lee Cattermole.
Personally i cant see it. Liverpool don't need midfielders unless they are wanting to unload Mareles or Lucas.
I know Catts is upset because Bruce has given the captain's armband to John O'Shea but can't see him selling him.

| i like cattermole, but i still dont think he has a cool enough head to play at the highest level, and i cant see him replacing lucas if he were to sign | |

They didnt have two strikers then though. In suarez and Carroll i cant see them sitting on the bench. Charlie Adam and Stuart Downing coming in i can see liverpool playing very attacking. Lucas and Mareles wont be guarentee starters in my opinion. Of course it is a squad so it will rotate

| can see suarez on the left of a 4-5-1 though to be fair if they are going to be attacking you think they would sort their cbs out first cant see carrager and skrtl being good at playing a high line | |

no, when lucas and masch were sat together in the middle of the park, it just highlighted our lack of creativity, as lucas was the one expected to be the playmaker, which he just isnt suited to, with the players we have, i reckon we are gonna revert back to our tried and tested 4-2-3-1 with adam/aquaman alongside lucas, with downing gerrard and suarez all playing off carroll

| and and yeah we still need a cb and a lb, i like agger, but hes too injury prone to be trusted, carra will always do a job for us, and is still one of the first name on the teamsheet, but only has maybe 2 seasons left in him, and i still dont rate skrtel at all
and on the lb front, apparently weve given up on enrique and are close to signing cissokho from lyon, but comolli has said there not gonna make anymore signings before they come back from asia and reevaluate the squad, so im not too sure on that

| surely arsenal will want cissokho now?
yeah the 2 deep midfeilders I doubt you will change from, because it suits the club, so it does seem like cattermole would just be a bit pointless
forgot you still had aquillani

| arsenal are supposedly leading the race for enrique, because hes said he wants to play for a side in the CL, which is why weve been linked with players elsewhere
yeah aquilani could be a good player for us next year, hes a player kenny likes so i cant see us selling him on the cheap, so were either gonna get a good bit of money back, or a player who on the face of it would suit our pass and move style under kenny

| you think he'd pack up trying to get midfielders in now, spearing and shelvey are there and can fill in i'm sure. You must be hoping he doesn't go loopy with transfers so the youth get a chance | |

| yeah i think we are done with centre mids, and i think spearing will still get some games next season, as although we have brought a fair few players in, none of them are really players that can fill in for lucas if he gets injured/suspended, and i think shelvey will get loaned out to a top championship side, alot of the rumours were that he would go on loan to blackpool as part of the adam deal
and although i am a fan of him, i think meireles is going to leave, so that would be one selection problem out of the way
looking at our squad now its looking alot healthier than it did last year (although it should do with the money weve spent) and i think we are only a couple of players away from challenging the top 4, if we can get cissokho for 8-10m, a good centre back in (id have quite liked that fella wolves have just brought) and a backup striker who be happy with a place on the bench, and find someone to take poulsen and joe cole off our hands, id be more than happy and quite hopeful about the new season

I just get the feeling he's a big fish in a small pond at Wigan. I would also say he's not worth £10 million but that's a redundant statement nowadays really.

| surely means you've finaly replaced greening?
Aslong as no one kicks him in training he will be able to get a run of games im sure, his actual fitness is one of his best qualities, so it wont take long to get match fit, just has been really unlucky with injuries

He wouldn't get in our team now,not with Mulumbu,Scharner and Dorrans in it!Top quality. I think it's worth the risk, especially on a pay as you play deal.Even if we only get 20 games out of him,he is a top class player who would greatly benefit our side.
