The England football team missed months of practice with the controversial Jabulani football, which is used at the World Cup, after a shipment sent to the FA went missing, it was claimed.

alot is still technique, last few balls have done alot of the work for the players

people have not been getting round it on shots, cos they do slow close replays and it looks like they are aiming for diagonal outwards flat shots, which curl out. why not just shoot like a cross, people have crossed this ball amazingly, get ya foot round it, its a BALL lol.

After going back a couple of pages, I saw a brief discussion about the upcoming Mexico-Uruguay game. I can see why they would go for a draw but if one of them tops the group, they should get an easier game in the next round?

That was incredibly poor, and I think Capello has to take some of the blame, everybody was looking at him for some inspiration, for a good subsitution, and it just never came.

I think the itv guy who has laying into Capello had it right, none of the players looked motivated at all, Rooney seems to have lost the fire inside of him, there's a difference between stopping him getting sent off and stopping him having that drive that makes him a great player.

Sticking Gerrard out left was a mistake since Gerrard was our best player at USA, the fact Capello is not willing to change or take a risk is going to hurt us.

players look nervous because Capello makes them nervous. they don't take chances because if they do and mess up they know they won't be picked next time. Capello is a good club manager no doubt but it really isn't working for England. Players need more freedom and Capello is the only one that can give them that.
