BBC will show about 10 live Championship games this year and supposidly most them will be Newcastle as just a way of keeping them on the tele (what were people jokes of Newcastle not being on match of the day?)

i feel that most of the championship teams should have had exposure rather then just the big clubs of the championship, havnt seen all fixtures but willing to bet they all have any of Newcastle, Boro, West Brom, Reading, Sheffield United.

suppose it doesnt matter to me i just go watch my team anyway taking th piss out o

We all do, but that doesn't mean we don't want to see other teams Laughing

Shame they didn't get more matches, even if they stuck them on BBC3 or summit.

yeh it is a shame, TBH i prefer the Championship to the Prem as a league beacuse often in the prem you know who will be top 6, bottom 3 etc in the Championsip you have no idea my club Bristol City first season in there we got to play off final and last season teams like Norwich, Charlton and Southampton relegated who in last decade have been around the premiership, plus i think there is a stat that 18 or so teams in the division have played top flight football which is only good for the league IMO Very Happy

Yeah, it's a lot more competitive but the football (I reckon anyway) isn't really the same standard at all and watching Sunderland all these years I've seen a lot of both leagues.

I wouldn't say the bottom 3 is that predictable mind, who took West Brom, Boro and Newcastle to drop?

This season I'd say Portsmouth, Hull, Stoke, Burnley, Wolves, Bolton, Birmingham and maybe even us are all candidates to drop.

i heard Burnley don't have alot to spend but with talent like Eagles you never know,

Hull, Burnley and Hull for me to go down Bolton survive last day,

Championship:

1) Boro (decent production of youth players, plus players like Aliadiare)
2) West Brom (can see them up and down for a few years now)
3) Sheffield Utd
4) Newcastle (players like Carrol to shine at lower level and become 1st team regulars)
5) Ipswich
6) Bristol City (little bias but signings like Hartley and Clarkson will be good for us and 2nd season for players like Maynard, and youth players like Ribeiro i can see us winning play off's)
5)

A dark horse always seems to come through in the championship.

I reckon Cardiff or maybe Swansea stand a chance of success, the play-offs should certainly be in their sights.

I'm interested to see how Ipswich do this year, I think Palace could do well too, I'm hoping West Brom have a good season though

Ipswich....the mighty Keane Laughing

Be no £80m to spend on bums this time, and I doubt Ipswich has a squad as strong as the one he inherited (6-8 of that team he got played regularly last season in the prem).

i had Cardiff just missing, i reckon McCormack and potentially Leadley will leave and a replacement would be hard to find i feel,

Swansea is a tough 1 the loss of Jordi Gomez, Jason Scotland, Roberto Martinez will hit them hard i feel, a couple of years to re-group i feel and they will be back up there.

a promoted team always seems to do well as well, Us, Swansea etc this year my tip is Peterborough to do well, Mackail-Smith is a top player who i was very impressed with when we played them in the Carling Cup last season and i reckon they are the dark horses for a play off spot, with Leicester City as well,

its so nice not have 606 WUM's here taking th piss out o

just seen on the note of Ipswich they signed Lee Martin who were interested in, it shows he has influence when coming to signing players because as soon as Gary Johnson found out Ipswich were interested he knew we had lost the race.

I can see Peterborough doing well as well, they have a couple of good strikers

I think Bristol City could do well, they are a good football team and they have a really good player in Paul Hartley you have just signed, the fans will love him, one of those play for the shirts kind of guys who can produce the goods

it's good to hear, our centre midfield seems very strong now with the partnership of Hartley and Marvin Elliott, Johnson seems to like signing players who "play for the shirt" as we seem to be ditching any bad characters in the squad:

Basso - handed in transfer request after not getting the amount of money he wanted in a new contract and has been frozen out of the side despite our GK depletion
McIndoe - sold to Coventry, spoke out last season and was dropped for a few games, can't seem to stay at a club long.
Orr - for a period last season he wasn't signing a new contract and mid season he was dropped because of it and we suffered at RB,

Johnson wants players who want to be there for the club not for the money

Like Hodge said they've got about 10 games.Bit pissed off that they've moved our game to 5:30 kick off just for the TV,I wonder if Shearer will be in the studio or in the dugout lol.

I'm pretty confident about our chances,Di Matteo has said all the right things so far,He's got luke Moore firing on all cylinders and we've manager to keep people like Brunty,Koren etc. With a bit of luck Automatic promotion is very much within our reach.Good result last night Gaff!

Thank feck for that!!!

I genuinely hate ITV coverage.

Their FA Cup programme was a joke. Gave about 90% to two matchess then gave the rest about 20 seconds each and their priorities were horrendous. Loads of the programme was interviews with fuckin Robbie Earle and random fans who nobody gives a toss end about.

And as for Champs League and International...No
