| With Sunderland, Newcastle and now West Ham looking for new managers, it's a nice way to start a thread.
I hope Mrs Dick allows Mr Dick to have a season with us. Experienced coach - proved by keeping us up - and could be good to get a young number 2 in to take over the reigns in a few years.
West Ham haven't renewed Sam Allydices contract. Apparently they all but sealed the deal to bring Rafa Benitez in buy ancelotti got the sack from real Madrid putting the cat amongst the pigeons there. I believe Mcclaren (sacked by Derby) and Bilic are early favourites
And then Newcastle. Where do I start...

| Clough also been sacked too,
Benitez will go Madrid without a doubt, wont be surprised if Ancelotti is the next city manager, McClaren next NEwcastle or west ham manager.

| Derby must be annoyed that McLaren turned down the Newcastle job when the Championship season finished, they could have got some compensation if he'd left instead of having to pay to sack him.
I'm going to throw out Paul Lambert as a possible for the Newcastle job. He's used to keeping clubs up, working with no money and finding bargains on the cheap. Perfect Mike Ashley fodder!

| Last I heard kloop was in talks with a Turkish club. Think Rafa will be Madrid boss. According to talk sport Benitez told the owners in an interview that he will build a team around Gareth bale - which pleased them.
I wouldn't be surprised if big Sam came to Sunderland if advocaat didn't stay on.

| The geordie job, is job that no one in their right mind would take. The fans expect to much their chaiman is about the worst in the league and sees his club as a cash cow.
Sunderland should go all out to try and keep Adovcaart at the club he has done a good job since he has come in. If not then big Sam could come in and keep you up. Mark Warbutton is out of a job aswell and the job he did at Brentford was remarkable. I wonder if any of the prem clubs would take a punt on him.

You could say that about a load of clubs though - what kind of idiot wants to manage at Leeds, for instance?

| Yes their is a few clubs that have that tag Leeds is one, i would put Spurs up there, and Liverpool to a lesser extent. But the Geordies i would say are the worst of the bunch, their fans are true deluded bunch | |

| Advocaat has left Sunderland, no longer wants to manage clubs. Not sure if this means he's retiring or only doing national team jobs... | |

| His wife wants him to retire. He kept is up. Got a million quid for it. We move on.
Big Sam is the favourite. There is worse out there. Consolidate us for a few seasons then move on. Could do with a year or two being safe by Easter.

| Philip Cocu down to 7/2 for next Sunderland boss. It's been said advocaat recommended someone but can't see Cocu leaving psv. Champions league football or more than likely a relegation battle... | |

| We had di canio. We had poyet. Even though cocu has a bit more managerial experience we need stability. If dick was still there is welcome him as a number 2 for a year then take over.
At the same time I'm thinking we'll end up with McClaren.

| Newcastle job is between McLaren or Patrick Vieira, according to the papers today.
Derby have gone for Paul Clement, former Real assistant.

| I think Vieira will wait to be promoted to the Man City job. Pelligrini will get next season before going, Patrick replaces him.

| Dyche did well, though. Considering he used pretty much the same squad that got promoted, played some decent football, I thought Burnley would get sent down in pretty quick time. Plus they beat Man City, and ran some other good teams close... | |
