That speech was class, told it, exactly how everyone watching feels.

Now that was worth watching.
That was something else, the best promo there has been for ten years.

I just read that this one was live and they are taping the other one.
Also no mention of TNA makes me think it was scripted.

That was honestly one of the greatest, most shocking promos I've ever seen. When was the last time Heyman / Lesnar / Hogan all got mentioned on Raw?
Even my wife, who barely takes any notice of wrestling was sat watching in surprise at the stuff he was saying.

Wow!! That is the only words for that!! My thoughts are that he must have re-signed then if he is getting that sort of opportunity on the mic

Quote :
After tonight's show went off the air Michael Cole announced that WWE has suspended CM Punk indefinitely.
Stay tuned for more from RAW.
Quote :
The following comes from WWE.com:
"Monday Night Raw’s abrupt conclusion last night was not due to technical difficulties. The decision to suddenly end the broadcast in that manner was made by WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon, who gave this quote to WWE.com:
“CM Punk was suspended indefinitely for his unprofessional conduct as soon as Raw went off the air.”
With his WWE contract expiring on July 17, one can only assume that this suspension effectively terminates CM Punk’s tenure with WWE."

Raw next week spoilers.
Spoiler:
John Cena comes out for a promo and he mentions that CM Punk has been stripped of his right to challenge John Cena for the WWE Championship in Chicago. He mentions that is why they are going to do the Triple Threat Match to determine a new number one contender. He also says that they are going to treat things as if CM Punk never existed in WWE.
Cena says that he is not happy with the decision and he believes that Punk was saying what he believes in, but he does not agree with Punk. He does agree with Punks right to say what he did. Cena says that he wants answers from Vince McMahon and he wants those answers tonight.
John Cena says that he wants to face CM Punk at Money in the Bank
Spoiler:
Vince McMahon comes out and he says that CM Punk deserved his suspension and he talks about how Punk wanted too much money for his new contract. Vince says that he is standing by his decision to suspend Punk.
John Cena comes out and he says that Vince loves freedom of speech and he still wants to face CM Punk. Cena says that if Vince doesnt feel like fighting then he should hang it up.
Vince says that he really suspended Punk because he doesnt want Punk to leave with the title. Cena made fun of Vince being afraid to let Punk wrestle. Cena talks about the match and then Vince tells Cena not to piss him off and not to be like Hogan.
Cena tells Vince to give the people what they want. Vince says that he doesnt give a damn what the people want. Cena gives Vince a speech and then gives Vince the WWE Championship and walks out.
Vince tells Cena to wait and he meets him on the ramp. Vince says that CM Punk is reinstated and Cena has his match at Money in the Bank with CM Punk. Vince tells Cena that if Punk walks out of Chicago with the title then John Cena is fired.

Wow. Just wow. What a promo.
That was a history making moment that. I know it was obviously a work but that was one of the best promos I have ever seen. I think he really did mean every word of it even though it was a work.
I cant believe that he mentioned Lesnar, Heyman, ROH, NJPW and called Stephanie and HHH douche bags
I dont want to read the spoilers either because I cant wait for RAW next week now.

Don't want to read the spoilers because I'm actually excited about RAW (well, Punk) next week! Although with Punk "suspended", I'm expecting some lame "invasion" of RAW. Going back to the speech though, I thought cutting Punk off just as he was begin to address McMahon being a bully (and pretty much the foundations of backstage politics) was brilliant.
Regarding the lack of mention of TNA, I just don't think he would ever have any intention of going there so didn't even entertain the idea of going there.

I follow him on twitter and he's funny as fuck but he slags off TNA all the time so doubt he'd ever go there. Rewatched it and he says "I'm the best in the world", is that a slight reference to the RoH iPPV from the other night, Best in the World? Or am I reading into things he said that weren't there? He's a clever guy so I wouldn't put it past him. I'm also not reading next weeks spoilers!

He was in TNA years back, and got used completely as a jobber. This is going back to when they were only doing weekly PPVs...
It made it better that he mentioned RoH - that's where he made his name, made sense he acknowledged them. Loved his 'how you doing!' to Colt Cabana too.
I watched the whole thing pretty much open-mouthed in surprise at some of the stuff he said, and if it was scripted, then at least Vince shows he has some awareness of the problems in WWE...
Same next week's show has been taped already - the rating for next week could have been huge if no-one had any idea of what was going to happen.

I think it wasn't scripted but Punk was instructed to go out there and shoot on everything he feels is wrong with WWE and did it so well it seems so real! I doubt if it was scripted it could carry that emotion and couldn't have been delivered that well. Nothing has got me this excited about WWE since the Nexus 'invasion' and cannot wait until next Monday!

Just re-watched the promo, and for me, its the single best promo I have ever seen. You could tell Punk meant every word he was saying.
He must of re-signed surely. You don't get to do something like that, if your contract is up soon.

I've been wondering more about Punk vs Austin myself. With the Austin beer-drinking, him wearing the Austin t-shirt, that'd be the match I'd much rather see.

Best promo ever. I'm still wondering why he had an Austin shirt on though. Maybe it's just to show that he can do whatever he likes because he's leaving. Don't want to read the spoilers but I'm assuming Punk is somehow involved then?
