Nintendo got hacked

Nintendo have apparently been hacked by the same people who hacked PSN, but nothing major happend, no details stolen and nothings down.

However I wouldn't be suprised if they tried it again, but luckily Nintendo have no sign up form on Wii-shop and it's looking the same for eShop so unless your stupid enough to use a credit card instead of buying a eShop card or Nintendo points card from an atcual gaming shop, you have nothing to worry about even if they did a PSN scale hack job.

BTW the eShop is still coming in tommorows firmware update with 2 freebies (3D classic remake of Nes Excite Bike and a Pokedex app)

Also UK games developer, Code Masters got hacked too.

I'm confused now as PSN got hacked by 'hacktivists' over Sony taking illegal action over piracy, which explains why they did that (I don't condone it though) and i'm guessing Nintendo is getting targeted over bricking 3DS's that use illegal flash carts... but why Code Masters?

I'm not too sure as the people who got arrested for the Sony hackings were members of 'anonymous', yet the people who hacked Nintendo last time are these http://twitter.com/#!/lulzsec but if you look on there tweets they said “we don't look arrested Sony”, so I have no idea.

I don't see the point of hacking nintendos website as it doesn't have anything useful for them.

Anonymous and Lulzsec seem to think that they are doing good by hacking and act like they are a cyber-Robin Hood... but some of the excuses they give are pathetic (especially there reasons for hacking Sony and Nintendo).

According Lulzsec's twitter (see the link in a few posts back) they posted “Sony are slugs” with a link and it took you to a part of lulzsec's site with a list of hacked Sony sites (mainly all Sony music).

Just been looking around on Google and Lulzsec seems to be like a cyber-terrorist version of the Joker as they claim they hack for the “lulz” and it's like they don't take anything they do seriously as they have that mad lulzsec logo (it looks like a pissed KP mascot) and all this talk of “lulzboat” and his joke Youtube videos... seriously lulzsec are criminally insane.

Got an email today the Sega has been hacked.

All these gaming sites getting hacked makes me think it's Americas anti-gaming lawyer Jack Thompson who is behind it.
