England only got 4 votes apparently so didn't even make it into the second round of voting (although I don't know why they need more than 1 round of voting seeing as only a few bids/countries get to this final stage). 15 years now until England can hold a WC at the earliest.

Im kinda glad England did'nt get it, cos we would'nt hear the end of it, it would have been alot worse from the Media than the 2012 Olympic pish.

I'd rather have the World Cup than the Olympics TBH.

I'd have no problem with England having it, just the cunts in the media ruin everything from the build up to the tournament itself.

in all honesty I think russia will put on a great show. I'm still concerned we will fuck up the olympics. Got to put up with weeks of narrow minded twats moaning now though. Fucking thanks fifa!!

it is a shame in a way that we didn't get the world cup as were likely to next be able to bid for 2030, by which time France etc will be trying to hold the competition again despite having it in 98. It also dents Bristol City's stadium application as the council may not be as supportive to us now.

I can see a few murders happining throughout the tournament in Russia.

And thousands of people getting jailed for drinking in public in Qatar or no bother going cos the drinking laws.

I'm not too bothered that England didn't get it in all honestly. I reckon it would of cost us a fortune for 'broken Britian'.

Also, I think there would be a lot of bother with England getting knocked out by Moldova or someone like that.
