He still hasn't announced who his next fight will be against.

Apparently, he's backed out of negotiations with both Klitschko's, and is talking to Audley Harrison about a fight. personally, a fight with Harrison would be a huge let-down - Fraudley's not beaten anyone in the Top 20 heavyweights, and one lucky punch against Michael Sprott shouldn't be enough to get anyone a world title shot. Harrison has no credibility in the US, and Haye would gain nothing by whupping him. It would, however, sell out a decent sized arena over here.

He has to fight a Klitschko, or he'll never be remembered as a top heavyweight.

So haye wants to be th greatest and retire within 2 years and hes being a pussy as he knows he will get his arse handed to him by klitchsko so is going to the other end of the scale and fighting in effect a bum.dick.

Hope this doesnt come to light , if Haye wants world respect rather than just english people bumming him he needs to defeat a strong heavyweight contender and the only 2 tehre are is klitchsko and they called him out .... so they want to fight ....

There's nothing wrong with getting some heavyweight fights under your belt before taking on either of them, he's not thick and he knows this but still feels the need to constantly call them out all the time to make himself look big, pathetic.

He is a good fighter , but he is too arogant and i know people like sexton will say ahh its just him hes just beingg "class" and that but unlike mayweather and Ali and tyson he hasnt earned the right in my eyes to be that cocky

Na but i hate slagging him off as its unpatriotic to slag off an english talent but he does need to not be affraid of losing in a good fight . I mean if he fough klitchsko and lost i think people would respect it more than beating harrison.

I dont know why he would be so scared of possibly losing hes lost once before

I do think Haye is a decent fighter, one of the better ones in currently a shite division. he's just never going to be taken seriously if he goes for Harrison rather than a Klitschko.

At least Lennox fought and beat the top guys of his era. If anything, the heavyweights are worse now, the division is there to be unified, and if Haye did that, he'd be remembered for a hell of a lot longer than he is now.

No other fighter at that time was getting put in tough fights like that at that stage of his career. Criticise his glass jaw, but David would fight them both on the same night oif the money was right.

The Thompson fight was an odd one for Haye to take, and the veteran absolutely annihilated him. I don't think for a second Harrison / Khan or any other fighter you'd care to mention would take a similar fight for their second ever pro fight.

I think haye has started to think that everyone should come to him and fight him on his terms. Harrison would clearly do it, as he has so much to gain (at best, a world title. at worst, a huge pay-day). The Klitschko's, however, are recognised as the best heavyweights on the planet, have reputations in the US and have been at the top for a number of years. Haye's simply not in a position to start dictating to them the terms of the fight.

Don't be silly. Thompson was a world level operator. For any novice to take that fight was a huge gamble. To say otherwise is churlish.

Haye wasn't decimated, he was ahead, he just gassed badly and got caught.
