Wondered who you all thought was the best this year?

I'm torn between Hodgson and Alex Mcleish personally, but I think Birmingham have been tad flukey, think they might struggle next season actually.

Anyway, vote and justify!

Hodgson, from saving Fulham from relegation to bringing them to the verge of the Europa League final, is nothing short of a miracle.

I was too torn between Mcleish and Hodgson but went Mcleish becuase of the squad that Birmingham have it's been a fantastic achievement for them to be where they are, i know Fulham have got to the europa semi's but they have a squad that is very capable of doing so, looking at Birmingham's squad you wouldn't say it's a squad that would be in 9th at this stage of the season.

What he has done with Fulham has been fantastic knocking out the likes of Juventus in Europa League, plus beating Man U 3-0 at home. This was a team destined for relegation 2 years ago.

I voted for SAF, and I support Liverpool.

Many thought United would struggle without Ronaldo, but they haven't and I think a big part of that has to go to SAF, and it's amazing how he is still going at his age.

i think it has to go to hodgson, he has turned fulham around since he has become manager

i cant really give it to fergie or ancelotti, as both teams have stuttered too much and neither has really taken the lead in the league and ran with it

Went for "Big Eck" Alex Mcleish. Him and his Birmingham side have surprised many this season and look to be getting a top ten finish when many would have expected them to be battling relagation or even getting relegated. Good work Alex.

I voted before reading everyone else's comments and glad I was on the same wavelength with my choice of Hodgson.
Fantastic achievements this season. It was mentioned that his side was expected to have done well, fair enough but the side was all put together by Hodgson so he fully deserves the credit from it.

I reckon Wenger deserves a bit of credit this season, only one of the big four who's actually made progress from last season.

Benitez - I've loved seeing Liverpool go so badly wrong for a side many thought would win the league.

Grandad Roy Hodgson for me. He's taken a team like Fulham who had no real hope in Europe this season and taken them to the brink (and hopefully to the final) of the Europe League. That alone wins it for me

What Hodgson has done with Fulham has been great, but considering how well they did last seasohn it's not necessarily a huge lep this season. With that being the case I've gone for McLeish, if he gets a good striker then I can see them doing at least as well next season. Tony Pulis has got to be up there for me as well.

Bit of a shame what happened to Stoke today.

Fair point there. It seems like evrything at the top is going down to the last game this season. I'm saying Chelsea for the title and Spurs for fourth, although I would prefer City or Villa to be honest
