- Dave Meltzer reports that there is talk within WWE of making RAW three-hours each week if TNA moves to Monday nights for good. There has also been talk of keeping the guest host storyline booked if TNA goes to Mondays.
Apparently the USA Network is high on RAW going to three-hours but Vince and Stephanie McMahon are both said to be against it. Word is that this is something being talked about a lot among some in the company. Im not sure how I would feel about this, RAW at times has struggled to come up with a decent 2 hour broadcast, so having the creative team come up with another hour of material every week could verge on suicidal and helped WCW's downfall making Nitro a 3 hour show. BUT with impact moving to mondays, could it be the kick up the backside the creative team and Vince needs?

| Like you say turning Nitro 3 hours was part of WCW's downfall. I think even Bischoff admitted that himself. Making Raw 3 hours long could be devastating. Coming up with three hours of material a week could be difficult. However, the otherhand is that new talent could be pushed further with that extra hour so it could be quite good if it happened depending on how it was used | |

| They could simply re-instate the Light Heavyweight Championship and give more characters time to cut promos ect...
I'm less impressed with the possibility of keeping the guest host, its very poor.

| See Vince doesn't want a 3rd hour because it hurts the ratings, its notorious that the 1st hour always hurts a 3 hour show and it will bring the rating down | |

| In this day of age with multiple ad breaks it would probabbly still be a 2 hour show even if it went to 3 hours and hopefully if the 3 hours idea happened they could put the adverts AFTER THE MATCHES and not during with them annoying recaps showing us what happened during the break. | |

| they do that intentionally though, they show you as minimal as possible in ring action in order to make us want to buy it on PPV | |

| True but they didn't used to do that.
I find it annoying when they finally make there way to the ring and the match is about to start only for King/Cole/geeky guy to say "the match will start after the break" only for it too come back on halfway through with highlights of what we missed.
Imagine doing that with football and when after they walk on to the pitch and toss the coin you get John Motson saying "the match will kick off after the break" only for it to come back on after the break as 2-0 lol!

| I can't see it working to well tbh, WWE are struggling to put out a semi-decent two hour Raw add aother hour on and it just becomes more monotonous with more backstage segments with the increasingly annoying guest hosts and more Dx promos where they promote their merchandise. | |

| Please God No!I don't think I could cope with a three hour Raw especially if they are going to persist with some Piss poor guest host every week.
However,If they scrapped the shite guest host thing, bought in someone permanently and began creating decent storylines for more members of the roster, and allowing more of the wrestlers to cut a promo then it might be ok.MIGHT being the most important word there.
