The pep talk that Mick Foley gave to Beer Money Inc and AJ Styles at TNA’s Victory Road PPV was originally scheduled to be given by Jeff Jarrett. Since he wasn’t there due to his leave of absence, the role was given to Foley. Sources say that Jeff’s leave was definitely not planned, and if it was planned, they likely would have had either the Main Event Mafia or Eric Young injure him in the storylines.
There has been a lot of talk amongst the TNA wrestlers about how the company would be effected -- both positively and negatively -- if Jeff left. A big part of the discussion in the last week has been about how Jeff being in hot water could effect his friends in power, such as Dutch Mantel and Vince Russo, and if they would remain in power or not. As previously noted, most of the locker room has sided with Kurt Angle.
There is speculation that Bruce Pritchard may come in to TNA once his no-compete contract with WWE expires. Pritchard was a long-time producer for WWE, and also a close friend of Jeff Jarrett.
