Hopefully it will put him out for a while or even better permenently now if only HHH injured his quads again wwe would be a lot better off.

I don't like either Batista or Orton, and the WWE knew Batista was injured, it happened on Saturday night and thats the reason the match was kept quite short, still not got a clue why they would stick the strap on him if he was injured

this is so stupid so now there will be a story or a wounded animal trying to take out all of legacy, what a bunch of crap. I think they should vacate the title and have the KotR torney and the winner gets the belt.

Must just be an ego boost, Batista will now tragically have to drop the title and go take time off which is brilliant until it triggers the return of Triple H.

so batistas last 2 title reigns will appear to consist of 9 days total reign, losing the title both times in his first defence, im starting to think he has a clause in his contract saying he has to hold a main title every year

that wouldn't surprise me to be honest.

I really do think batista's ego is big enough for him to demand to hold a world title at least once a year.

I'd give Batista the strap 10 times a year as long as the only consisted of one show, give him it every 5th RAW and take it off him again later that night

It was going to be the King Of The Ring next week, although it was advertised I think like last year they would have just announced it the week before, but due to Batista's possible injury their could be a WWE Title tournament

Seems abit stupid giving him the title when he was injured just to have him vacate and ruin possible 3 hour Raw plan's. Why would they throw all those suposed plan's away to give an injured guy the belt to take it off him straight away and have to change a 3 hour special's planned tone?

Replacing a KOTR tourny for a WWE title tourny is going to be wank, KOTR is mainly mid card- the guy's that I actually want to see, not the 'main eventer's' ALL over the show, it'l just be shit, for me anyway, the kid's will love it...

To be fair, the KotR was never confirmed anyway, many just speculated it would be that due to it being on last year around this time.

I agree though about giving Batista the title, it was stupid, they could have started Extreme Rulez with news that Batista had been attacked and his arm was in bad condition and he might not make it tonight, then they could have had sold that he was in bad condition, he would then look like a hero for coming out anyway and it would have made sense for him to be written off TV after Orton destroyed him in a cage, it wouldn't have made him look bad if everyone knew he was severely injured first and only went out to please his fans (the crowd) it would also have helped Orton look like the true sadistic heel they have been trying to build him up as

bbc 606 article says ecw,wwe and world title are to be defended on 3 hour raw. i don't know if this is definite though.
