Looking forward to getting the Macho Man DVD, even if the man himself wasn't involved with the finished product. Nothing we can do about that but http://machomadness.com/ has started an online petition to get The Madness into the Hall Of Fame at long last. Grab your slim jims, point with your pinkie finger and pomp and circumstance your way over there to give him a helping hand.

Classic Randy Savage Commentary:

Looking forward to this as well!

Haven't seen anything in terms of content but really hoping that they don't do what they did with the Ultimate Warrior!

I still get shivers and smile when I see that promo in the lead up to the match with Warrior at Summerslam 92...

Right in his face - "cause I'm the World Wrestling Federation Champion and YOUR NOT!!"

Warrior's face is priceless in reponse to this!! Laughing

I like the Warrior DVD, I think it fitted with his personality, he really does believe he is mental, or did, thats what made it so good, as for Savages DVD I think that will have a bit more respect, I'd love these two to brake bread, I don't believe the 'rumours' at all, but I really would love them to make piece

Major reason I don't believe it, Savage wound a lot of guys up, if he really did that then a at least a few guys would allude to it in shoot interviews, how many have did it?

I can't take the rumour too seriously either. I would've liked a Warrior interview on the DVD though, even if he is mental.

JR and Bobby Heenan on commentary! Think I actually had this video when I was a sprog. I used to have a fucking awesome Coliseum Video, 1992 year in review. Had some good stuff and some Papa Shango squash matches, so I was happy with that Laughing except Sean Mooney hosting it, there's only so much Sean Mooney I can take.

It's wierd at the Rumble before Mania VII in the Queen Sherry/Warrior interview, sherry seems to be about to blow the Warrior for a title shot, what a manager! Wink

Ahhhh you could always trust Sherri to do what had to be done, unfortunately she simply wasn't persuasive enough, anytime DiBiase or Michael's was up against Piper he used to get himself a tongue full of Sherri

What I want to know though, did Savage ever get that title shot from Slaughter, I mean, he basically cost himself the title shot at Mania but said Slaughter had promised him one, where was it?????????

Don’t get me wrong, Randy Savage is a legend and deserves to be in the WWE Hall of Fame, or be a part of any wrestling video game ever made.

However, there is one thing that has always bugged me about Savage, mainly how ridiculous he was over having complete control of Elizabeth, and taking over protective behavior to a whole knew level, dig it? No, but from watching the shoot interviews he was notorious for locking her in a room or even the basements of buildings. From what some of the wrestlers said, it appeared as if he was super paranoid that she would hook up with other wrestlers backstage in the 20 minutes he was out in the ring working a match. I respect Macho; I grew up a fan watching him, but it sucks to hear him being such a supposed psychopathic womanizer, when he could have had any woman “snap into his Slim Jim” at that point in his career.

This DVD will be bad ass, because he was an awesome worker and a big seller, its just his backstage reputation that has been under scrutiny these past few years.

Regardless, Macho Madness is still alive and well!

The only thing that bugs me is that we wont have Randy Savage's real life no kayfabe accounts of what happened at the time they happen, I'm wanting an autobiography from the man
