Vince removes Macho Man from video game

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Vince McMahon has decided to pull Randy Savage as a playable character in the upcoming "Legends of Wrestlemania" video game which is slated to be released by THQ next March. Savage, who competed in 9 out of the first 10 Wrestlemania's and won the WWF Championship at two of them, is being regarded by THQ as a huge loss to the video game

If there is a downfall of the WWE it will be Vince sticking his nose in too far IMO All it would take is 3 or 4 big names and their mates pissed off and WWE could theoretically be in trouble.

I just feel that the more we learn about Vince and his cronies the more i feel WWE could become a company split between kiss arses like HHH and HBK and people that dont want to be bossed about and want to have some kind of control like MVP and others.
If Vince annoyed a few big names like Orton who has a few people that are his friend and respect him then i think Orton could persuade these people that the WWE is wrong and that they are too power crazed.
Theres only a certain amount of pressure you can put on people risking their health and even life to entertain and from some of what ive read Vince and his team push it right to the limit and if a few big names that have a lot of inside followers Vince may have to either let them go of let them rot and neither is an option.
Saying this TNA isnt a big enough company IMO to have Orton (example) and such names on its roster yet as it would mean loosing the great wrestling they have at the moment.
Obviously this wouldnt happen with the current roster but as HHH and HBK and Taker get too old and the new blood comes in the more backstage heat we seem to hear about. And now its not like WWE is the only option as they could earn almost as much with TNA. Or they could run a wrestling school or wrestle at indy shows and im sure they would get decent pay for that.

savage should be in the game for sure he was a big part of manias and a multi time world champ and also held tag belts and the ic belt as well he is a true legend and i liked him when he use to wrestle to he had some good feuds as well and vince holds things against people for the past he has to let more go and give us the fans what we want we are the ones who made him rich

Vince lets plenty go(he hired Eric bischoff for fuck sake), something major happened for Vince to hold this kind of grudge, but I forgot this is the IWC and we don't follow logic in the IWC.

The fact that Vince McMahon rehired Hulk Hogan a gazillion times, each time after they had a monumental fight and vowed to never do business with the other one, ever, should be a good indicator that there is something more to this than Vince being a prick who can't let things go.

He has made a living out of seizing opportunities to make money, and most of the times he has been pretty successful because he could let go of grudges, e. g. with Hogan or Bischoff, like Bazz said. Him not wanting Savage associated with WWE in any way implies that Savage must have done something of Benoitic proportions, at least in Vice's eyes. I cannot think of any other explanation.

Rest assured, it sucks that the Macho Man wont be in any WWE game, anytime soon.

He has the biggest corporation and therefore if people want to be in it they go by his rules, HOWEVER, he should allow the superstars to put their ideas forward and try some of them out. You never know there may be a few good ideas knocking about.

He always did that. Dunno about now because it's not just him in charge but the wrestlers in the attitude era all helped with the creative side of things and suggested all sorts of ideas. Vince wasn't responsible for thinking of everything.

Steph was 18 in 1994(when savage left).

I don't think Savage was over-rated either, I thought from 1987 to 1991 he was in the top three all round top performers in America, easily top three
